  2. see.....power isnt everything guys!!!! Darryl ps, top shooting Si!
  3. It's more to get you in preparation if you do enter bigger comps mate Darryl
  4. I wasn't knocking it mate or having a go, goid on you fir trying it. Its just that they maybe should be teaching you a bit better before you get into the habit as if you enter competitions you'll lose points or even disqualification Darryl
  5. Nice pics mate, only 1 problem, in HFT you're not allowed to sit, thats only FT ;) Darryl
  6. Accupell have always performed well in all of my 97's Darryl
  7. Nice read mate! I'm a serial tinkerer, if it were me I'd have it stripped, de-burred, smoothed and polished and relubed. I recently done a .177 Stoeger X20 of all things and it made a hell of a rifle out to 40yds and I put this in the same category. In that respect Im thinking of making a "sleeper" as a new project..... Get a budget rifle and tune the cr*p out of it to make it a hell of a smooth accurate rifle then surprise the crap out of people when they shoot it..... Darryl
  8. It will seem harsh at first till is run in mate I have 2 of them myself, one tuned, the other Im waiting for the kit to arrive, once theyre bedded in mate and re-lubed a couple of times it will be almost as smooth and as quiet as a PCP They ARE the best spring rifle made in my opinion anyway..... A 100% good buy!! If you need any other help with it just drop me a message mate Darryl
  9. Hawke Panorama or Varmin 1/2 Mildot mate, nice clear air rifle scope, plenty of aimpionts for not a lot of cash Darryl
  10. Theyre ok to get you in the ballpark mate as long as youre within the trajectory of an air rifle. e.g Use it at 20 yds to gain a temporary zero then fine tune it at your constant zero. Personally I just use a large piece of cardboard and a dot Darryl
  11. bearings arent made to withstand shock factors like that of the thump of a spring piston rifle, why do you think companies havent undertaken the idea. All youre asking for is trouble. Polishing the spring ends to a mirror finish will partially help but theres a lot more goes into a rifle to tune it. Best idea is to stick with whats there and work with it mate Darryl
  12. Love it mate, mine has the AMD ret and tbh I much prefer ir to the SCB Darryl
  13. Got a tin of Accupells with it mate but Im gonna try my old favourites, RWS Superfields, H&N FTT, Bisley Mags, Falcon Accuracy and see how I get on Darryl
  14. Cheers mate hope that go,s for little hunter two you now you make his day when he shoots your rifles .He will have his ultra in about two weeks so i will need one of throws twinks atvbmac Not even a problem mate Darryl
  15. aye youre more than welcome mate I'll be putting an order in shortly mate, will letyou know when Darryl
  16. Well here it is.... Always fancied trying one of these out so bit the bullet and bought one tonight.... Daystate Huntsman Classic .177 Video review to follow on the channel very soon!! Darryl
  17. All well and good but the Hawke range offers a better picture and centre to edge clarity. It's your choice though don't let me sway you if that's what you want Darryl
  18. Can I ask why you opted for this scope?? In my experience they are t the best for that money. The Hawke range in my eyes are far more superior Darryl
  19. Good news mate. That's the drawbacks of buying secondhand. Would the seller not foot half the bill for you?? Darryl
  20. Yes mate with the correct adapter rings Darryl
