  1. youre welcome mate!! Stick some photos up when you get a chance Darryl
  2. small squirt of oil on the pivot points and its fine mate  Its has a lot smoother cocking action and release, with a smoother firing cycle and a lot less recoil Darryl
  3. Paid a visit to the local range much the same as every Sunday and met up with a couple of lads off the forums, BigMac97KT, TXTurnbull & Vizlauk Mac was running in his new .22 Prosport and I was running in the Vmach kit I put in during the recent videos. Anyway, after best part of a tin of pellets it was time for the accuracy test. As Sod's law had it I ran out of RWS Superfields and had to settle for AA Field 4.52mm Below is the group I ended up with witnessed by both Mac and Sean. Shooting the group... The final group, 8 shots through same hole with 2 flyers
  4. I think you may have been mis-informed on the spring mate.... The Titan ones anyway from my experience always seem to be that bit longer.... not that its not easily solved by cutting it down Darryl
  5. looks spot on mate.... In future if you want to remove the satin etc from the chequering without harming it, use Nitromors on it, agitate with a toothbrush, then for the final bits use and iron and a cloth and steam it out Darryl
  6. Not that many now mate.... 3xHW100 although wor kid has one of them Panther Huntsman Prosport HW35 Thats still some collection though mate. Hows the huntsman getting on mate? ATB Aaron Hardly seen any use tbh mate Just topped it off with a new MTC Genesis with an AMD reticle so its gonna get an outing at the range tomorrow and see how we get on. 8. well thats the FSB & TX200HC gone to their new homes.... I hope the new happy owners get as much out of them as I did. Darryl
  9. happy to help as always mate.... you got my number if you get stuck mate Darryl
  10. Unless you get an A&M cylinder Darryl
  11. Only trouble with your tip mate is that unless you're a registered game dealer a shop cannot sell the meat as if something "went wrong" they need to know where and who it came from. If they aren't registered then at worst case the shop will probably be closed down and yourself prosecuted. Darryl
  12. As with what Wurz says.... Accuracy is the key to good hunting, a pellet can hit as hard as it likes but if it doesn't hit the right place it's useless Darryl
  13. Hmmm, the jury would be out on that one for me I think.... Putting an abrasive in the action the using it under working pressure along with in front of the piston seal and blasting it down the barrel could be asking for trouble in my eyes.... But I suppose it either works or doesn't, however I don't fancy risking a rifle if it doesn't, I'm quite happy hand polishing to get my results. Darryl
  14. Welcome to the Prosport club mate!! The Mamba Lite will suit it down to the ground mate Unless you get a Lightstream like me and Wurz Darryl
  15. Cracking rifles! I've not long sold one and tbh was a joy to shoot, I just couldn't get on with the shape of the comb Darryl
  16. I'm insured through SACS too.... £10 mil liability and legal cover included, but that's for ANY country sport not just airgunning. Darryl
  17. Very nice mate Standard or have you had it regged yet? Darryl

  19. A standard mildot scope can be used as a rangefinding aid, it's called bracketing. I've got a post from a while back somewhere on here explaining how to do it but if you can't find it Google is your friend Darryl
  20. Any permission is better than none mate. The rabbits seem to be appearing more & more now in certain areas so hopefully things will be back to normal and we start reading good reports again soon Darryl
