  2. they work close by then mate?hows ur beagles kennelled, are they much bother when housed with terriers and lurchers noise wise? the beagles are great together but i keep the only terrier i have now seperate cos he`s a miserable ald scrote always growling at them but they dont make much noise in the run just play fightin thats all, i think people who dont have or have`nt owned listen to other experts down the pub then pass on the knowledge, they work well with my mates terriers and lurchers as well. cheers lads thats interesting to know might get a footbeagle fairly soon thanks
  3. Thank god there is someone with some sense about them. Fools talking about running a 4 month old pup thats just recently aff the tit No wonder theres hoards of dogs going through the for sale section:- "9 month old pup" or my personal fovourite "swop pup for Bullx" FTB i wouldnt think any 4 month old pup would catch rabbits

  8. I've read some sh1te on here lately but that must be the biggest load of bollocks that i've read anywhere ...why don't you just feck off and die fairplay obviously doesent understand their traits
  9. The only divvys are those that go and buy pups off untested dogs and a puppy farmer it dont take a genius to work out that tested working parents will give more and better offspring for work than a puppy farmer selling for money that couldnt possibly be breeding from proven dogs as he dont hunt with the parents.seriously why lower the standards of working dogs?
  10. better still lamp em in june.cop on
  11. youl do what you want but that doesnt make what your doing the right way
  12. your support and respect for lamping hares your forgettingstabba the hare with one dog on in daytime has a very good chance of surviving and running another day
  13. i understand what your saying but'getting the job done ' is not a needed with hares
  14. they are easier.its a joke, its no test for a working lurcher, the hare dont know where to go its unsporting.iv been told on here that half bull greys are plenty fast for single handed foxing.would i be right in thinking that these are the type that are 'tested' on lamped hares ha
  15. stabba.daytime hare's are special in most decent dog lads eye's,I am not a member of the saluki brigade but can recognise that it takes a good dog to catch a full grown winter hare, you will wipe them out easilly in large area's of the country if your lamping them regular,it can't be compared to any of the other quarry you list as it has no hole to escape in,it relies on pure speed and agility and local land knowledge to get away, don't use the excuse they need controlling as a pest by you and your obvious hero worshipping fans that couldn't wait to back you up online, the downfall of all our cou
  16. if there are fleas in the fur of the rabbit wouldnt they cause tapeworm if fed whole
  17. any dog that struggles to kill a hare on the lamp is a slow dog.a hare cant get into a ditch and will run into the middle of the field and search blindly for the gaps.its a waste and lurchermen who do this dont appreciate what a special animal it is and the type of run that hare would give come dawn.they must just have them down as a stupid oversized rabbit in their book.its like hunting in the summer or killing a pregnant one it would get you a bad namewhere im from especialy as they are scarce and dont need controlling
  18. spot on,theres no argies fighting with the us in iraq or afghanistan or was there in any of the other wars its completely ridiculous that theres even a chance theyd be on their side
