  3. Talk about putting cat among peigons, great thread. The only two guys I hear about are hancock and brown, they both breed for gain, whats the difference??? The reason I ask what the difference between them is the fact that I have never been to eithers yard, so I am not taking a stab at either of them, who has been to both yards and whats the differecne between them?? Reason I ask this is it all depends on how pups are bred, if a man is willing to spend money in order to turn out good pups then I think thats the difference, while ya have the other guy who turns out anything and t

  6. I have a dog that did that this at seven months old, the dummy was almost raped before it came back to me , first run on a rabbit and she done the same, rabbit was shook to death, three months later and now she is just holding in her mouth, no shaking at all, try a few live ones as Mike said.

  8. Brillent stuff REW, she is looking in great nick, we had full moon over here last night, not a thing in the fields, ah well you cant win them all. Keep at them bunnies
  9. Agree 100% with you, all my dogs get the same treatment, its down to the dog owner to understand this and put it into practice.
  10. To a degree I would agree with your comments DG. I think you are right to a certain degree when you say that two pups are more than a handful, depending on the person who has taken reasonability for both pups. In your post I think you have tarred every lurcher man with the one brush , on one have we guys out there who are not fit to keep pigs , let alone a dog, and I have met them, but there are really good lurch men out there who are more than capable of taking sole reasonability for two or more dogs and bringing them on to very high standards , I have seen these dogs work at firs
  11. Agree with SD on this one, unless the quarry is running over a hill or something, then I stand in the one place, why bark when you have a dog

  13. My exact point Frank, a perfect example of what I was trying to say.
  14. paocher9991 had me thinking with his last post bout his bitch ripping her legs. You have touched on something that I discussed with a friend of my only last week. We were both out in the field and his bitch ripped her stopped, real bad, bearing in mind that he had taped up the stopped before we left his house. Any way, I was discussing with him the benefits of having a second dog in the event of such an injury to either dog, to be honest that’s why I decider to take on another dog, just in case. I would hate to be left dogless during a season, when clearly you can avoid this by havin
  15. Real shame bout the legs, but thats all part of our game.
  16. Most of my fox control is with factory load, American Eagle 50 gr.
  17. Young lad has me pestered to bring him and the dogs for a mooch this morning, so off we headed to a fame that is known for its high number of bunnies(thats what we thought). Anyway the young lad managed a slip on a fine hare, but he slipped the wrong dog, young Ru who is seven Months old was let loose on this hare. As you would expect the hare was off its seat and across the field with Ru in two, have to say that he did well for a young dog, turned the hare twice, but never stood a chance really. Guess what we had left the cam in the car Heres a pic of the young lad with both do
