In Scotland if you were ferreting and a fox bolted in those cicumstances you would beat it in court with any competant lawyer but it may actually end up in court as the police are very badly advised by their partners in crime the SS pca.

UNITED is the key I was very closely involved in the fight against the ban in the UK and have good knowledge on the most effective methods of lobbying but the most important thing is that your clubs must form an association so that they all sing from the same songsheet that way if there are any disagreement and there will be it can be kept internal and out of the public domain. This may not be the main threat to our sport but the sooner your ready the less chance you have of being ambushed. PM me for advice.

  14. During the Watson bill in Scotland some lurcher clubs did not even put in a submission to the rural affairs comittee a lot of their attitude was they can ban it if they want, it wont stop us. The terrier clubs took a different view and through the NWTF put up such a reasoned and forceful argument that terrier work in Scotland came off better than anything else under the act. They also worked hand in hand with the SGA & SHPA and the NFU the more effort you put in the better the result you get. I refer you to the NWTF code of conduct.

Hi Guys, thanks for all the positive feed back about the show, its nice to hear you had a good time it makes a change from the usual bitching about the choice of judges or the terrier that wins or the weather. I have to agree with you that the over all standard this year was very high, well done to George and Stevie.
