    Jesus christ lad, grow the hell up! Some of the responses in this thread are laughable. Were they typed by monkeys or 12 year olds? Wether you agree with the way the hares were killed or not, FD had a job to do. The farmer wanted the hares gone to stop the trespassers illegally entering onto his land and coursing. They had been asked previously to leave and given back abuse. So what should his next step be? Shoot them? Their dog? Call the police? He took the easier option by removing their target. The hares.     Well said mate, its one of the easiest things in the world to shoot a hare, whether night or day, but to course one thats another matter. wont go any further with this the twats not worth it.

    Heres a picture of one of the fields round me in Kent. In the last 10 years its been getting steadily worse because its crops out, and crops in, No ploughing to turn the soil over and bury the flints for drainage, never fed except for chemical fertiliser.What do I do make them boots to run in or stay out of the fields,Its only one of many.

    Yep, we ve thought about it time and time again, because of the ban and everything associated. It was going to be France until we learned its against the French law to hunt anything with a Longdog.Hounds in packs only and guns, something to do I think with the revolution. Then it was going to be Ireland as you can hunt hare there with permission, Ireland 15 years ago was a very different place to what it is now, everything is so expensive now, and like here its a rat race. So although they are both beautiful countries neither place is for us or our dogs, so we just keep our heads down .It m

    You obviously catch her again, sounds like high spirits, dont forget theyve got a sense of humour, mine has,they can be a bit headstrong sometimes, put some strong smelling tit bit that she loves, like smelly cheese in your pocket, and make sure she knows where it is,give her a little on the walk, if she dont run off give her a bigger bit, keep getting her to come to you and give her a titbit and lots of praise,getting a pup to come to you is really important, cant stress enough how much,also get a dog whistle they love to come back to that sound.dont forget shes still a pup.

    just looked on the web, put in fur tanning, and all the recipes are there, hope you get on ok, years ago did badgers and fox and sqirrel, but they were so lifelike I got rid of them. Good idea to just tan the fur though Ive often thought its a waste to throw them away.

    bad luck mate, salt no good you need tanning solution, I havnt used it for years but you should be able to get it on the web,good luck with it.

    Yep in our area Kent we are inundated with mixi, its a awful desease. if you see any on their last legs put them out of their misery. Its not fair game to allow the dogs on them.Just hope it goes away.

    Very interesting about liver fluke,BUT just been throught he web and at last found a picture, YES it is coxidiosis, picture and description exactly the same as my photo, thing is its really contageous,cats dogs chickens, seems like everything gets the blasted thing, causes the runs, a lot get over it, and usually in the young.Just queer Ive only just come across it and Ive gutted hundreds, Cheers for everyones help.
