    i hope it was a Badger. never seen any in that wood so thought they didn't live there. and there is no deer in there. it sounded like something hunting something or chasing so my first thought was a dog.

    Last night I went out about 12 late to a field bordering woods. Was enjoying the walk till I herd something in the woods behind the bushes. Tried to get a look with the light hoping it was rabbits, but bush was to dense. Then I herd 4 legs like a big dog running through the woods just the other side of where I was standing. To big to be a fox, so thought it was a dog with someone . Went in to the woods to look but not a soul. I called out hoping to get a reply but there was no one there. I herd the thing again running fast. Sounded like a big dog. Got to spooked so left the woods. Been there

    I would not take it to heart mate, his mum was probably just very worried at a grown man offering to take her 14 year old out somewhere. It may be best to ask any kids to first speak to there parents about going on hunting trips and if we ask the kids to give there mum or dad our email address so they can contact us before any offer is made. Sadly we do live in a sociality that is not safe any more and I know I too would be worried if someone was offering to take my kid out who was a complete stranger on the net

    I read a long time ago that white poo was seen as a undesirable colour so something was added to dog food to stop it turning the poo white .

    what do you mean she's marked? if she has a scare from hunting that wont bother the vet. take her to a vet and get her sorted.

    Don't worry jay, there have been a lot of strange people on here so naturally us hunters are suspicious Just be polite no matter what is said and you will soon prove your self.
