  8. i had to hand rear a pup once, i find they pull there heads away when full, or they let it dribble out and wont swallow it. also you need to stimulate them to pee and poo as they cant do it on there own , so you need to wipe there bits with cottn bud to make them go , mum dose it by licking them .
  9. I brush my dogs teeth about 3 times a week with dog toothpaste. (shes a show dog) wet food can get stuck on the teeth so I only feed dry food and raw meat. You can get something called logic that you just rub on the teeth, no need to brush.

  17. I am a member of the ferret hutch, it can get very quite at times. but its a good place as the guy who runs it takes in rescues. and he lets them go to working or pet. the forum wecomes working. back to the subject, a lot of people i know keep ferrets as pets and work them too. so pet owners can also be working there ferrets. you dont need to be one or the other.

  20. Kits play bite a lot as they are teething and always wanting to taste everything. My kit play bites me all the time but I don't mind. If he bites to hard I squeak very loud and say no. he stops and he try's his best not to bite hard but I know he gets carried away when he's playing. I always wash my hands before I pick him up, so my hands don't smell like food. And I always let him run about the house and play first. Then I give him some food, then I pick him up. But I still get lots of play bites , but after all he's only a kit
