Tell them that you wont agree to neuter as you plan to show him. But that you will help pay for the treatment. They have no right to make you neuter your dog. Be strong and firm with them. Tell them neutering is out of the question. And offer payment instead

it feels good to say what we want to do to them even if we dont do it. I would have called the police and taken them to court for threats

never seen any in that field, i know the place well as i take the dog there for a run when i not hunting as i know there,s no bunnys in it. not one hole. but there is a few in the next field. first time i seen the field cut. just want to know what's the likely hood of rabbits moving in now its cut.

was out at 9pm just for a look. not seen a thing. but will go back tomorrow at a later time. just wondered if Rabbit will move to a field that has been rabbit free all year.

I'm fine with people not agreeing with hunting as long as they air there views in a peaceful manner. What really pisxxd me off was the way they spoke to the lads. First telling them to leave there ferret down a hole then threatening to take the ferret off them, then calling the lads cnts. As well as all the other abuse they throw at them .and trying to damage there nets. It was disgusting. And as for saying they agree with killing humans.. well I know were I would start

It is hard to keep your cool with theses anti people. My dog is a show dog as well as a working dog, and we had to face protesters at crufts last year who were trying to spray paint the dogs. One anti said the dog was better off dead than a show dog. And they have been known to let dogs out of crates at shows. Even by main roads. were the dogs could be run over. And they call then self s animal lovers .I am very much in agreement the way some dogs are bred for showing. But there are a lot of people like me who have dogs that work and show and our dogs are healthy breeds .yet the antis throw

I think it just takes time, after a few catches she will take it more seriously. Try a bit of lamp training. Get a torch and turn off all the light in the house, then get some tasty treats (rabbit would be best) shine the torch and drop the treats in the light. Get the dog used to associating the light with something good. Once the dog is used to eating the treats in the torch light, hold her by the collar throw the treat on the floor shine the torch on it, and get her all excited before letting her go to get it, you see where am coming from? Build up the training by moving it to the garden

I am disgusted at the way they treated theses young lads. Swearing at them and threatening to take there ferrets is not the way to go about anything. I wonder if they go up to yobs on street corners that do nothing but drink and coses trouble. No, they pick on two young lads doing what lads should do. A nice bit of hunting

cattys are great. I use one one all the time. easy to carry and when used right can take down a rabbit. I use it for the moments when a rabbit is feet away and the dog is off some where and only i can see it. everyone should add one to there kit -

my girl is 15 months and she is the same. as soon as the Rabbit go's in the hedge she stops looking for it. but today she found one hiding in the hedge and chased it out. she's getting better, still a lot to learn but i am new to this in a way too, not done it for many years. so we learning together, makes the bond with your dog strong . enjoy it , you will get great pleasure from watching your dog get better -
means she's under shot. you will have to wait for her big teeth to come to see if it stays lie that.
