Hi i was just wondering how you make shaped nets?

Hi i have just started to make some more nets and the guy who showed me how to do them always made his 18 meshes wide! But looking round a few shows most i have seen have been 15 meshes wide and some cheep ones as low as 12 meshes! I was wondering how wide other people make there nets and weather there where specific reasons for there choice or was it just because it was how they where taught?

I went out for a quick shine with a mate for his pup on some stubble only saw 2 rabbits and both where well out of range! then when i was on the way home one ran under my wheel so truck 1 dogs 0!

I'm not 100% certain about the distance you need to be away but i seem to remember that there is ruling that it's banned within (set distance) where injury or offence may be caused so if they could see him from the footpath then they could use the wording but where probably bored or didn't know!

Hi there checked my ferret locator collars today and the leather fastening strap has broke on one is it replaceable? and if so cow? as i tried to gently pull it out and it seamed tight and i didn't want to damage the locater bit!

where is it and can he lick it? if not put it in with another ferret if you can had a hob given me that had one that kept reappearing he told me to squeeze it out if it flared! up put him in with my 2 jills over winter it came up a bit then went and never reappeared it was on the top of his head so the only thing i can think is that he could not lick it but one or both jills did!

most dogs will mark it's about learning to understand the dog my bitch shows attention to an inhabited warren but passes straight over an empty one but if you didn't know her you would think she was hardly bothering about either!

I've seen some advertised that send a jet of water at the dogs nose are they any good or just a gimmick?

Hi just started feeding B.A.R.F and this has probably bin covered but i can't seam to find it! When feeding bones such as lamb ribs and neck is 3% of the dogs weight a good start point the same as mince or should it be slightly more or less because of the bone density?

just got in with the pup only got 4 runs but there you go not a bad number round here! think he's beginning to get the idea about watching the lamp but still a bit slow his recall went from perfect to only coming after a good charge round so back to basics i think! -
Right then i phoned a local battery supplier about buying a 12 volt lithium ion battery and he said they could get me one in but don't stock them but what did i want it for after explaining it was for a lamp he suggested i use any thing but lithium ion first reason because if it gets damaged the lithium will combust with contact with the air and the second reason being its propensity to expand he was saying he had a 3 mil battery that had expanded to 15 mil and they where looking into why as it was a common fault! has anyone else herd anything like this or is he just having fun at my

im thinking of adding a strimmer to my ferreting kit but don't think the bunny's would be very cooperative after the racket lol

I had a similar problem with my first dog a bull/grey X whippet! up to 30 yards perfect after that a completely different dog after a near accident with a car got a training collar only needed it once! best money i spent but if you don't trust yourself with it get a calm controlled mate to operate it for you! stops you zapping the dog out of anger!

I just use 5/8 dowl hole in one end then use a belt sander to make the point. I work in a sawmill so bag them up and chuck them in the treatment tank pressure treat right through so never rot!
