  1. good advice i always say over with fences and walls ,you could also try the pup on small sandstone walls and moving on to bigger if using small walls to start i used to get over them myself first and then call and encourage the dog,and with praise if she does it.
  2. all the above with a bit of ratting and airgun work after all to me a lurcher is an all round dog so i have my bitch doing as much as she can this helps me no end.
  3. just used to keep it clean and bathe in salt water the dog would normally not be able to run 3-4 wks just be careful they easily reopen when you are tempted to get the dog running again so not to early.
  4. i started of in the back garden with a torch and a few broken biscuits the dog would soon get the message that there could be something nice in the beam once they twig your off, and when they see something move in the beam even better.
  5. in the winter i walk the dogs about 5 mile each day if possible plus they mooch when of lead this also with little runs here and there for a few bits, and out over the weekend working you will be suprised how fit the dogs get my mad lurcher never stops so dont worry to much they will be back to were you want them to be in no time mate.
  6. you can get the blue neoprene covered ones from bq on edge lane or bics diy in dovecot there about 1.75 a pair .
  7. i have only ever heard of a tuned rapid upto about 50-60 this was by a top guy who is an expert on rapids so for something to go upto 80ftlbs i would be kind of worried.

  9. i have a 410k in 22 does the job no prob.
  10. any second hand weirauch if poss hw 77 or both very reliable and accurate although not the lightest.
  11. probably the rapid,the chap at manchester airguns has a friend sam thats good with fac rapids he is the man to see.

  13. i think its about 5-6 pound max so you can see the difference thats why we all use airguns,gets the job done.
  14. what pellets are you using try the aa field.

  20. most weirauchs are top guns iv'e owned a 77, and the 90 however they can all be a bit weighty when fully kitted up ie scope, lamp if using of a night so if you are out and about for a few hours you need to take this into account because your arms will be knackered just checked the weight and it looks a bit lighter than some of the other weirauchs go and have a look at the gun if its in a shop get the feel of it,good luck anyway. http://www.wrichardsguns.co.uk/airrifles.htm

  22. s410 k in 22 give you -90 on 180 bar dont fill to 200.
  23. as grim says my s410 gets filled to 180 good for -90 shots in 22.
