    I'd give it a go if there was money in it. I already have a fleshing knife, two other knives, and some tanning chemicals. Pretty much all I'm missing is a fleshing board, I've been too lazy to make one. That said, out of all the foxes I've shot or snared there's only been one with a pelt I wanted to keep. Unfortunately for me, and more unfortunate for him, he had a giant hole in him But he was the deepest richest red looking fox I'd ever laid eyes on.

    I considered it one time for a brief period right before my shooting buddy told me about his and his brothers expierence in them. The cold winter we got his brother and their family had to move back to the home place, despite heating on 24/7. They've since lined it with kingspan or whatever it's called, even the windows in the bedrooms. No thanks, not for me.

    Another thought is how are these people "made". I don't believe they all popped out of their mothers womb with wonky brain wiring. Some have to be produced from their treatment at the hands of others. This is no excuse, but it's rather a clue for society (that's you & I by the way) to cop on in the way it treats it's members. There have been two recent threads on here I can think of where people were, less than charitable to others.

    I have no issue with someone owning one gun or 100 guns. They should be locked up properly though, in a ways that denies access to other people. Someone on another forum made a smart remark in relation to another posters post about drink driving, that gun shops are no more to blame than bars. Fair comment. But do you blame the alcohol, or do you blame the person who drank it to such excess then got into a car? Do you blame the gun, or do you blame the person firing it? I know I blame the individual.     I bet most pelts sold on Ebay are from Canada, Russia, USA. Colder climates where the pelts develop better than in warmer climates like this part of the world. I'm not sure for all the work involved in skinning and tanning them there's any money to be made. Not heard of anyone buying them, but there may well be.

    Bolt action .22lr for the bunnies, cheap to run, quiet, effective. CZ American would do the job. .243 for the foxes & deer. Me, I'd go custom or semi custom. But there are plenty of factory rifles out there.

    If the whole batch was crap, then I wouldn't be wondering too much. That individual bottles from the same batch are crap makes me suspect them. I've got a couple of hundred bottles, mostly Heineken that were donated to me. The reason I liked the swing tops is the look of them and not having to buy new caps all the time. But I guess I'm going to have to start now.
