Bit silly still is'nt it lol Would thinking up any random belief be just as acceptable to you, like worshiping an empty shoe box or something. If it gives people strength then all the power too them. But it was a shit stupid question, and totally out of context in this thread. TC No you are talking out your arse, it was absolutely in context with the thread and with your post. So what do you believe about the universe, the world and how life came to be on it ?
-
So it all just appeared and yet I'm the nut? Lol lol
-
Nope, sorry mate......you will have to put it in layman a terms. Alright let me expand.......scientists say that (in theory!!!) we just expanded into existence from nothing......they can't explain how. And yes, you did read me right that's NOTHING ! So nothing (THATS NOTHING!!!) can instantly become something........and you (not you in paticular Kanny) have a grip on things and I don't yeah? I know I can't prove mine and admit it, you can't prove yours but think you can?.......tell me, who's the dick lads ?
-
Right hands up, I can't explain my non scientific belief......so, given that all the people who mock me and people like me accept scientific fact please explain this....... I will skip a few billion years and all the complicated stuff like "how can all the genetic information to produce a giant redwood fit into a seed the size of a 5p bit and that its just a fortunate accident" Let's go back to atoms.......where did they come from?

Bit silly still is'nt it lol Would thinking up any random belief be just as acceptable to you, like worshiping an empty shoe box or something. Your right, it sounds almost as ludicrous as believing a bowl of water can change into an elephant if you just give it enough time........oh hold on, sorry!
-
Carp are like pigeons, if you find something they will eat and you can put in front of them in enough quantity to really get them at it then they will eat the lot. That's as complicated as carp bait gets, use bait that's cheap enough to use properly.

Well, you learn something new every day.....I never realised that a dog would only have 3 or 4 matches in its career. I suppose it makes sense and it also shows the difference between that type of dog and its job and all other working dogs. Brilliant reading lads, well done.
-
Mate, it dont take no working out.......when I moved over here I was amazed ! My council tax is €90 a year, schoolbooks for my 2 daughters was €700 for 3 years (they never even had proper textbooks in England !!)you deal with your own rubbish but if you employ a bin service it's about €350 a year.......I don't and it costs me a bit of diesel for a trip to the recycling. The fire brigade is covered by your home insurance if you need them. That's it !........the roads still get fixed and the coppers still come if you phone em. There's no reason council tax should be £1500 a year or

In your experience have these lads had anything of merit dog wise Max ? I know Tiggger took his first bit of tackle at 8 months old and has had graft literally thrown at him and he is simply the best dog I personally have seen (I have no experience of coursing dogs) His offspring were put into the hands of a couple of lads who caught more tackle in the first season than most will do in a lifetime, they gave them gargantuan amounts of graft. As I say my experience is limited so I'm not naysaying you mate.

I still reckon we are talking about very different animals mate, there is definite logic in what you say but I don't think , mentally, you can compare a well bred sporting dog or indeed a very game terrier to any other canine. Just my guess.
-
There's no reason for council tax to be the price it is.........it's a rip off.
-
I understand your point perfectly mate but my impression of what the lads are saying is that they need to find out how big the dogs heart is before they put the proper time into it or they may get a false reading so to speake. If it keeps going when physically the chips are down then they have something worth putting the time into type thing. They could end up breeding from an inferior dog simply because it's level of fitness masked it's lack of heart. That's my understanding of what's been written. As I said, I'm totally uneducated in the matter so all you lads replies make for i
-
Look just for balance I will stick a very uneducated hand in the air and say that you are talking about 2 completely different types of dogs with completely different mindsets. Same as you can't treat a terrier the same as a saluki (IMHO) I would think bringing on greyhounds or running dogs is a different skill set to bringing on a sporting dog.......both skilled, but different maybe?
-
Don't feel guilty mate, you can only order what's on the menu and if you don't like it then you don't like it.....simple as that. It's all broken......why waste your time. I have to say, the UKIP councillor in my old area has done some real good stuff, not least sacking the big firm the council had running the council (??figure that!!) which seemed hell bent on robbing every poor c**t for every last penny. So fair play to him for that!
-
An ugly c**t like you managed to land Mrs Mik so miricles do happen !
-
This is what I can't figure, why by spiteful about people who have a belief ?........you don't really hear those people being spiteful about people that don't do you ? I mean, I don't go round starting a thread entitled "boring closed minded c**ts who are just waiting for the worms" do I ?........or "people who believe in God are pricks but I'm off to the betting shop cause I'm a f***ing retard".......... Makes you think don't it.........or not, as the case may be

It makes for interesting reading from all you lads who it seems to me have a very decent knowledge in your various fields of experience. Good thread chaps
-
You forgot that he also has a better right hook than his old fella

I kept away because it held no interest, I just glanced at it this morning out of curiosity and saw that you were running at the chops again like a schoolgirl. However, you are correct in as much as everyone is guilty of it from time to time......that's life. The sun will still rise in the morning and set in the evening so none of it makes a blind but of difference to anyone's life does it
-
Let me make this really simple for you........ If you talk sense like on that thread where we discussed crops and organic food then I will agree with you. If you talk bollocks like on your football thread I won't agree with you. If you carry on like an old woman like with your various "enquirer" threads then I will say you are an old woman because you sound like two old girls outside the post office on pension day ! When it comes to not having the courage to respond to something in a positive way just because you may have had disagreements about most other threads then I reckon

Well, as I have got older I have realised that I'm an expert on not being an expert......so the question is, should I be replying to this or not ? Haha

Those snobby new money types drive me mate, it's funny but some of the classiest chaps I ever met came from areas like yours and mine and had absolutely f**k all as kids......those chaps could sit in the best places and talk with paupers or kings and be as comfortable either way. One year they may have a nice roller parked outside some west end place and another they was eating beans on toast after getting back from "holiday" People could learn a thing or two about life from men like that...........they didn't give a f**k about the bells and whistles, being a proper chap to whoever you me

You sound like you hold a genuine affection for the place still mate and I like that. I understand it too even though I may not share it for the place in general. Sadly over the last years I only ever seen to be back amongst my own people at funerals or court hearings, lots of the old boys are sadly no longer with us. It's funny but I even feel different when I am in that sort of company, it's a million miles removed from my ordinary little life......and you smile and laugh about things that lots of people would find extraordinary and remember some great old characters from when I was a

As I said mate, the place holds no nostalgia for me......moving away was the best thing that could have happened for me. I have no doubt I would be living a very different life to the one I now enjoy, sometimes you have to break the cycle. You can't change who and what you are but its nice not to HAVE to be that if you get my drift.
