100% Welsh Red Players are trying who ain’t good enough to try it and have not got players with the ability to receive it. You don’t just turn up and “Be Paul Scholes”......the bloke had a range to his game, sure he could do what that video shows but he could also do so much more. Agreed mate, some of the stuff I saw was so f***ing basic it was unbelievable.......closing down in front of your own box, working little triangles Jesus Christ even a throw in ! It was all attempted 50 yd Hollywood cross field passes and pass and stand still, backing off players and letting them play, not pressing quickly in front of your own box.....I mean this is the stuff I teach kids not to do. I have written about deliveries into the box so we won’t drag that up again. Im behind em, I like the vibe and I like the team selection (other than Sterling ) But f**k me, let’s not

Be nice to think you are right mate. maybe my expectation of ability is too high, I don’t expect them to be winning every game at all......I just think there are things that players who play for the clubs they do, play and train amongst the peers they do should have better ability than I have seen in certain areas.

Honestly, there’s a few lads on here who’s opinion I respect on football and I understand it’s all subjective but I honestly don’t know what anyone is seeing in the first game team that was much different from the team out against Belgium ? If Belgium had put its first team out against our first team I personally believe you would have seen exactly the same game.....

If football lads are honest with themselves, then based on the last 3 games progression in the tournament will be more by luck than judgement unless something major changes about our decision making, the speed we are moving the ball, deliveries into the box and just pulling the f***ing trigger. Our defence looks nervous and to spite two good saves the keeper looks shaky, 3 goals from 5 shots let in?

Well, has the rose tint rubbed off any spectacles yet? That game was exactly what I saw in the first 2 games, a top side firing on all cylinders will tare holes in England. Im going to go further and say the ONLY positives were Vardy, Rose and Stones......everyone else was absolutely f***ing terrible with Dier leading the charge for most pedestrian player of the evening.......the bloke was simply awful. I agree with Kev in as much as I don’t think any teams hold that much fear for us so who we play dont really worry me, I’d just like them to get a test against a top side before it matters. And I totally agree, I think Southgate is playing a blinder on all fronts.

The best scenario for us would be that Belgium fielded their strongest team and we did likewise because that would provide us with the best education and actually do us the most favors imho If we progress in the competition then we are going to have to deal with Hazard and Lakaku at some point maybe and for me I’d rather the players got their reality check now in a game they don’t matter........they would be better prepared then to deal with them when it does matter. Cant knock what we have done so far but you also have to be realistic about the standard of that opposition. The
