I’m not successful, I’m massively poorer than I ever was but that is totally deliberate because I didn’t want to have the piss taken out of me and I didn’t want my children to be exploited while their environment got turned to ashes ! Why should you have what the rest of Europe has, why are you entitled to that ? Genuine question mate.

But your mate is a victim of things you advocate for, namely a punitive tax regime….he isn’t the victim of a Lord or Jeff Bezoz ! He is a victim of precisely the thing you want ! But do you think that success should be punished in some way ?……or that the state should decide how successful a person is allowed to be ? Surely what you are advocating gets progressively more punitive the more successful a person becomes ? I don’t know if you have ever read the opening chapters of Mein Kampf mate but it’s a conversation almost all of us will have, every day of the week with almost anyone we meet…..it’s sums up our situation perfectly ! And this isn’t after eighty years of “far right” governments…..this is after eighty years of socialism and internationalism ! Folks can draw their own conclusions from that.

I agree but the reality is, people can’t be bothered to think about the situation outside their front door never mind explore further than that…..it’s asking mental defectives to play against chess grand masters…..in an ideal world they could, but we all know they can’t.

This one will send you right over the edge…… There is a strong argument to say that our nation was at its greatest when the aristocracy were still the ones who got elected to parliament…..before we started paying politicians and any prick could be one ! The argument is, they didn’t need the money, they still governed in the interests of the nation !……. Its an argument not without merit !

Again, you may have felt like you had to tug the forelock but I never have…I’ve stood and had conversations with tramps and lords (that’s true) and never felt anything less or more than just me…..I’ve lived my own life, what a lord did never affected me, how could it ? It can’t ! If Lord what’s his name buys another load of land it never stopped me selling 90 ton of iron to the scrap yard and putting the money in my pocket did it ? What you describe is internationalism mate, as advocated by Ramsay McDonald and various other liberal types in various guises of whatever political party. There is room for the state as long as it’s light touch and understand the things where it is a net benefit….again, that’s how it used to be. That’s not what we do now, “the state” used to mean “your state”……now it means something else.
