Horrible experiences like that mate, it just sort of leaves you deflated and feeling a bit of a mug......however, I would always make a point of complaining.....from a Michelin star to a sausage Sandwhich off a stall, there’s absolutely f**k all reason to be two bob about things and they shouldn’t be allowed to get away with it. Food is and should be a social experience mate, you will remember years back that if someone came to your house you would feed them.....it was just the done thing. My poor old mum used to be up at all hours cooking for my old mans pals at all weird and wonderful times of the day and night and you would all sit round and talk and eat and generally do like a generational bonding type thing. Never been mate, the only times I was in Camden for leisure purposes I was completely off my f***ing tree ! Lol I think if we are talking about London then Manzes has to get a mention, traditional grub like that can get forgotten and when it’s done as well as they do it it’s up there with anyone imho When I was a kid there used to be a really good butchers/delicatessen in Broadstairs and me and my old man used to go to another on Roman Road every Saturday morning. Id like to think they are still there but sadly they probably ain’t ........good delis seem to be dying out.

I think you have hit the nail on the head there mate, good quality gear will always be good in the hands of someone who can cook a little bit. You don’t have to be Marco Pierre White, a decent bit of pork simply roasted or a veal steak done in butter, same with fresh veg. Good quality ingredients don’t need much more than salt and pepper half the time.

I love eating out, but I have to say my experiences have been mixed. I will say, it’s very hard to eat a bad meal in Paris.....I think I have had one bad meal there ever. We had a great Italian near where we used to live and that was very good, I like Italians anyway because I have kids and they are normally bang on with kids.....they don’t treat them like unwanted customers. My pal owned a good place in Bromley, but when he took his eye off the ball and moved towards other projects it went down hill. Quaglinos in London was alright, don’t know if it’s even still there but

Let’s tell the truth, the NHS in its current format is unsustainable.....it will eventually run out of other people’s money at some point.......unless everyone winds up working full time to pay for it or they import even more millions of tax donors into that island. It’s costs every single person in the UK (working or not) £40 a week each ! So in real terms, it’s costs all the working people £100 a week each. Some form of insurance would be much cheaper than that even if all the working people stuck in £20 each to cover folks who couldn’t afford cover......they would still have

There’s a vital thing you are forgetting mate......that logic only stacks up if the government give you some money back (free license fee, lower the license fee)......when was the last time they ever did that? Dont worry about the answer, I’ll tell you......never.......ever!
