I agree, it’s boring and been done to death. Its just I have always felt that we are different, I have always thought that was obvious but maybe a chunk of that is down to my own beliefs......but, I don’t think my prejudice makes it less real. And the point was I suppose I wanted to see if anyone said “No, there’s no difference and here is why” but I think most on here have hinted that there is a difference and tried to give various reasons why. It rather knocks the “we are all the same” narrative because quiet obviously we are not the same and everyone knows it.

Or because they are not as mentally advanced as us maybe ? Someone said before on here something I agree with, they can be taught things but they can’t innovate and create......that seems fairly accurate to me

I have no idea either mate, just asking the obvious really. China, modern Iraq, South East Asia, South America were all building and making things, and to be fair I don’t think it’s entirely accurate to say Europeans have only done stuff for 1500 years, what about the Roman Empire New Grange here in Ireland is 5000 years old. Id say “modern” Britain is 1500 years old but the A1 is a Roman Road. I am probably way off the mark with how I am interpreting the replies but are we saying that the reason Africa has barely moved on from its ancient self is down to diet and vitamin E ? Interesting stuff from all you folks with big brains. Heres another question, I wonder what led each group down such different paths ? So, your European has really taking his potential a long way and your sub Saharan African has barely changed ? Brain size maybe?.......that bit of extra volume meant a lot ? I wonder what it is ?

No mate because I move them every two days into a fresh patch of pasture, this helps the grass and plants recover, maintain root structure and water uptake and so the ground can resist more punishment (if all that makes sense ! Lol) They will come in for the worst of the winter. soil should have a “coat” of grass and plants, the aim is no bare soil ?

What’s the rules on feeding “swill” in the UK mate? Over here it’s illegal to feed a pig kitchen left overs of any type, mine grazed free range and I also topped them up with rolled oats.

If you do get them, make sure the fencing is very, very, very good......and that you have electric fence with a decent hard kick to it. I got 7 joule mains fencing in the end because pigs laugh at 1.5 joule battery fencing ! Also, a pig will just steam roller sheep wire fencing like it’s not even there, if a pig wants to go somewhere, it’s going ! Lol Stuff you can’t lift yourself as a grown man a pig will toss aside with its snout like it’s a balloon! Pigs are bright animals mate, and they will suss out the slightest weakness in a fence, they will suss out where the best

These are what I’m going to be concentrating on, Australian Lowline Cattle and Jacobs sheep. My Pigs are in a freezer, they have a job renovating land but I can understand your landlord not wanting them as they wreck the gaff, if your pasture is decent you don’t need them.....ruminants are easier handled , do less damage and still return you decent meat.

I don’t think there is a cure for a bad back mate, least I have never heard of one. Its purely just management and recognising the warning signs, I can be fine for a year and then bang, Cant f***ing walk.....it’s as random as that. I am over weight and can still play football and go to the gym, I just know what I have to do to stay right and if it’s sore I rest it, take anti inflammatory for a few days and hope it don’t flatten me.

Aye, that’s f****d.....mines the same. All those massage blokes and chiropractors and all that are a complete waste of money I found.......slow stretches, anti inflammatory tablets when it starts to get sore, tens machine, back support when it does go. Just accept that it’s never going to be right and then you learn to be careful with it.

If they are anything like that lovely little idiot I had they may decide to test themselves ? Was out on a walk once, January and the little b*****d took off despite me shouting in him.....he then proceeded to swim a small stream and up a big banking then off into some woods. I had f**k all with me as I was just out for a walk so I eventually found a hole about 150m away and sure enough could hear the little b*****d going at it.....I had to wade the stream and there’s snow on the ground and I’m piss wet through. So I headed home (about 3 mile) for a spade. Got back and was

f***ing hell, I hope they don’t ........can you imagine the tales that will get told on the air gun section ! Joking aside, I tend to think Greyman is right, you would hardly see them. Im surrounded by big blocks of forestry here and you hardly see a fox so a shy animal like a lynx would be a rare sight. Im not so sure hill keepers would be delighted mind you, that is a direct and relevant threat to their living.
