Well basically they ref games like they are almost a non contact sport. They will give fouls, free kicks and yellow cards for challenges and tackles they are absolutely bog standard any given Saturday up and down England. It makes for totally bland soulless football. Their idea of the offside rule is ludicrous and they find it hard to keep up with play so are making decisions from like 40yds away......bad decisions. They absolutely ruin games, break them up, stop start, stop start. It’s bad for the game itself because let me tell you, if most teams here even came up again

I pop up Sligo Rovers now and again, it’s like non league really.....the standard is pretty poor and refereeing is the worst you have ever seen which can really spoil stuff but it’s still not a bad little evening out just going your football....you know how it is.
  6. Oi.......don’t push me ! Lol ?
  7. Can’t tell you, it’s a secret ! Lol ?
  8. I’d call it “Toby” as in “Get on the Toby” which seems fitting.
  9. Have you give the boat a name mate ?

Paul McGrath does curry sauce adverts on the telly here now and at the end he says “ohh ahh” and I don’t care who you are you have to say “Paul McGrath” out loud.....family must think I’m mental ! Lol He did an interview on the telly here with a bloke called Tommy Tiernan, it’s very moving mate. The bloke comes across fragile as f**k in it, worth finding on YouTube if it’s there......what a nice, shy bloke he is.

I can only suppose it’s because domestically football has no relevance compared to Gealic mate. They would be home and away to the village Gealic team

They pretty much only follow English clubs mate, it’s all Utd, Liverpool, City and Chelsea in that order.......I always give out an audible groan of “Oh my god” when I see them sporting the shirt and cracking on like died in the wool scousers blah blah blah Meanwhile their domestic game is dying on its feet, they want to have a f***ing word with themselves Oh, forgot obviously Celtic and you get the odd Villa and Wolves fan ???? Don’t ask me ?
  13. How very dare you......I can string that out to at least a page and a half. Lol
  14. I’m going write a book about my full frontal assault on the climbing wall at Para Engineering HQ !
  15. Falconers book is very good, it has a pretty humble feel about it and I like that.
  16. I don’t like folding knives for hunting work, I think they are dangerous. If you are having to get in amongst a struggling beast you want fixed blade. For stationary work, skinning etc a folder will do fine imho but for anything else fixed blade with a decent sheath is the way forward.

Not lost enthusiasm for the game mate, just lost enthusiasm for all those virtue signalling pricks. As you have said, I don’t think they will be at all that nonsense when fans return so until they do, they can do it without me.
  18. I only ever used cheap Mora Frost knives and always used a blade tech sharpener......not fancy but it’s quick, it’s easy and it does the job. Plus you can put an edge on things when you are just out and about, takes 30 seconds. I still use mine for my kitchen knives and I have had it about 10 years. But as has been said, depends how flash your knife is and what you want really mate

I hear you mate, don’t think that I don’t or that I think your are talking silly because that’s not the case at all. It’s a really personal thing, it’s not some conscious decision like “look at what I’m doing lads” thing.....I just genuinely can’t drum up the enthusiasm and that was the trigger. Nothing more than that really
  20. That’s is absolutely fantastic mate, bloody good for you. What a lovely thing. Enjoy it pal, I’m sure you are walking round with a grin like a Cheshire Cat right at this moment ?
  21. Should have just f****d them overboard and called it in as a false alarm !
  22. You would have tripped over the anchor chain and gone arse over tit over the hand rail and into the drink ! Some Darkie hijacker saying to his mate “Did you hear a splash ?”

I genuinely have not watched a single premier league game either the end of last season or this season. I just can’t bring myself to do it, I took on board my fellow hammers point about ignoring it all but I just couldn’t. However, I have been following my old little non league club via reports and watching an odd champions league game if it didn’t involve an English Premier League side. It’s a shame I have lost heart in it because I understand that it’s all change and some of the “lesser” teams are doing well which would have made it interesting. Im watching my boy train a
  24. Over here, I’m the paki ! Lol ?
