With all due respect mate, nobody is asking them to speak out or do anything that anyone would know about......all they have to do is go to the polling station and nobody knows what box they put their X in.......but the cold hard facts say they just don’t ! Then we need to vote for it......keep saying it don’t exist yet isn’t good enough, make it exist ! We can start by just not voting for the two party’s that have brought us to where we are.....wipe them out, vote for absolutely anyone else but them. Totally agree mate, and that was my point really, he didn’t only knock 10 doors......the bloke and his family would be very, very well known and he lost to a Tory nobody has ever seen or heard of ! Somebody mentioned UKIP and everyone ran away like f***ing mice !

Mate, I genuinely struggle to understand.....you can’t go through life calling everyone an idiot so I don’t even bother to talk to folks about it in person anymore. If they insist I will but it normally leaves them looking a bit bemused. Here’s a small example of what’s happening all over Britain. A lad I know just stood in the local council elections as a candidate for Reform U.K. He is the uncle of a lifelong pal of mine, lived in the area all his life as have all his family and it’s a big family. This is an area that has seen massive house building, it has seen its services reduced and it council tax go up by the maximum amount, is has seen an influx of Africans from London and by default the crime rate and violent crime in particular has gone through the roof. Tell you want gripes me a bit, we have this rather ugly habit in Britain of saying “Well, you are in/will be in the shit too”.........yeah?......so f***ing what? That don’t matter if you live in Britain and while it may be coming to other places Britain’s in a much more perilous shit state than the other bloke......this is Britain’s reality RIGHT NOW !.......not tomorrow, not next week, not in 5 years time.....RIGHT NOW ! You would think folks would have worked out by now that if you are Mr Average White British bloke you matter less in your own land than the shit on someone’s shoes. Oh I understand mate, as I said, it wasn’t a dig because I know it’s all about profitable management. Fact is farms can’t make a living letting animals live a natural life, they are a commodity instead of a sentient creature......that’s fundamentally wrong to me.

This is no dig at anyone but it’s f***ing savage how we treat animals in the food production “system” .......i ring my lambs and that’s as savage as I want to get. I helped the bloke round the corner de-horn calf’s and I just found that brutal......no reason to treat animals that way imho lads, they shouldn’t be a commodity treated like shit.

My old mans doctor and his son who was also a doctor were almost outcast in the medical profession because they used to advise against mixed race breeding and relationships.....partly for this reason !

They have a decent little carp society going up there. The lad I spoke to was ex RAF and a really good lad, one of the main lads behind getting the whole thing going. -
Don’t know what the banks are like where you fish but personally I always used single sticks.....much more flexible. If I was over there with you I wouldn’t even bother with back rests myself

Sounds a great way to fish mate, my personal favourite was surface fishing and it’s a method I’d turn to regularly without hesitation. Strange how many carp anglers seem to be scared of surface fishing. -

The reason (as I’m sure you know) for the length of hook link is because of how carp feed mate, suck and tilt.....over about 6 inches and the fish will be pointing at the surface. Its about the optimum length for all the mechanics of the hair rig to work to the best of their ability. Thats why the fulcrum point (in my case it was always free running lead weight) is set there. Never really used semi fixed lead set ups as you can’t really get an idea of what’s going on in your baited area with them. -
