Your not wasting your time and I’m not wasting mine mate for the simple reason we are not trying to convince each other and so there is no goal……as I said, I merely find it an interesting conversation. For the country that gave the world the sufferergette (spel ?) movement and the Jarrow march I wonder if we always felt this way ?…….it’s certainly been the case in my lifetime I have to admit.

With the greatest of respect mate and I genuinely mean that because you mention a very personal and sensitive subject there…..but, if we are doing “IF’s” then what “IF” some poor little f****r don’t eat this winter because his single mum can’t afford the increased electric or gas bill because their council house isn’t insulated ? “IF” is a fantastic word that will get you out of jail on most things.

Its an attitude that is all pervading in Britain……can you remember at the time of the hunting ban when none of the fisherman gave a shit ? I can. Mate, I have spent more hours of my life than I care to remember there in that exact spot stuck in a van, 7 hours one evening in one spot with the engine switched off. They have one of the biggest ministry checkpoints on the 25 there and when they feel like it they cause f***ing chaos checking ordinary people going about their business for everything from out of date tax to a bald tyre ! Couple of hundred kg over loaded ?…..here you go son, that will be a grand please ! Im afraid the “messing up ordinary folks lives with a protest” don’t hold water…..when the government turn it in

I also know that there were delays on the Olympic Park project because when it was drug test time whole firms of lads wasn’t bothering to come to work because they knew they wouldn’t pass !! Thats f***ing howling !

I used to have a lad work for me and you couldn’t take him on jobs where the place was occupied because he stunk of weed….he smoked that much that it just seeped out of his skin. Just that smell alone cost that lad god knows how many lost days wages. You can’t be f***ing about in some stockbrokers office with a dude stinking like that.

I don’t want to get into a big for/against debate mate but I have said before, in my experience it ruins people. It’s not been easy for anyone the last couple of years being cooped up and everyone handles stuff different but if you can knock that shit on the head I’m 100% sure you will feel a new man. Won’t be easy after such long term use, I have mates same as you, smoking it since 14 and now 50 and they are in tatters without weed but I’m sure it will be worth it. Hope you get yourself right soon pal ?

Mate hindsight is a great thing and I used to be one of these “load of c**ts” type people before they rocked up and destroyed my community ! Looking back, we should have supported you and not allowed them to destroy those communities and our own peoples lives and futures…..the shit state of the gaff today is a direct result of our apathy as people. Im as guilty as the next bloke and it’s an epidemic.

Some of the protestors on the Thurrock side the other day looked to be in their 30s and 40s, in fact about half of them looked like that. They looked like perfectly normal, every day people. Its not all white prats with dreads, it’s school teachers and housewives and other folks who just have a concern.

Understand all your arguments lads but the same people were just the other side of the bridge the other day in my old area so I will give you a couple of things to consider. First of all, as we are all painfully aware, coherent, logical arguments mean absolutely f**k all in today’s Britain……the lesson from the government themselves is that extremists are rewarded, applauded and beatified while your ordinary bloke can go f**k himself ! Second, at the minute and for only a short while longer, we have the right to peaceful protest…..long, and I mean long, may that continue……anyone

Leon seems to be a very hard film to find, at least for me. Its a personal favourite and Oldman is an absolute giant of an actor in it.
