  1. To be fair I would have gone literally anywhere but my Mrs pointed out that my command of English isn’t exactly that good so learning a foreign language may have been a bridge too far in the getting sorted in your new home stakes ! I pretty much stuck a pin in a map then and off I went ! Lol ?
  2. My cousin, young girl, suffers like blackout/fit type things (don’t know the exact name)…….she had one on a zebra crossing on Regents Street……people stepped over her mate ! One of a million things that just made me go “f**k this”
  3. Fair one mate, I think you hit the nail on the head with that phrase “draining the life out you” ……that’s it exactly.
  4. And there is a brilliant example of what we are talking about mate, of course I wouldn’t support the cause but I do realise the cost of their freedoms are my freedoms……I think right at this moment in history that matters more than ever. Jmho of course
  5. That all sounds very familiar mate ! Lol ?
  6. You make what I did sound way too noble mate, it was no culmination of a noble quest, it was a decision made on the spare of the moment on a train back from Paris……I kid you not. It was a moment in time when I sat there and thought “Do you know what, I’ve had enough” ! I just didn’t like what I was looking at or where I thought it was heading any more. People think I’m joking when I tell them that but it was no grand plan, it just came into my head (as seems to be my life story ! Lol) and I looked across at the wife and said “Do you know what, I want to f**k off….what do you re
  7. I think it’s understandable mate, it’s the comfort of the “known”……the “return to normal” (normal !!…..f**k sake ! Lol ) as has been the catchphrase for the last 18 months ! I’m looking at things now and thinking the comfort of the known is going to get thrown out the window and nobody can control it…….a sickness will always right itself and what we have in the world is a sickness.
  8. These conversations are always hard mate because, as I am only too aware, it can very easily come across as preaching when really I’m just talking and discussing this and that, throwing bits and bobs into a conversation out of interest…….I find that stuff useful and fascinating. I believe (maybe naively) that the government was once broadly on your side or at least the side of the nation…..as Paul Weller says “before we all became American” lol Now it’s all “dog f**k dog” and it’s ugly mate……maybe living in the back arse of nowhere has addled my brain and made me go all soft ! Lol
  9. Most people wouldn’t have believed you could get locked up for making a joke…..but you can ! I don’t know how much more proof folks need before they understand that the government are 100% NOT on our side !
  10. And that mate is the problem I have when lads are saying “f**k em all off”……bigger picture mate as you well know
  11. I always think the comogie girls must be hard as nails !
  12. You get what you ask for as they say mate
  13. Well, there was a group of escaped bullocks walking up my lane this morning. I went and put them in my crush until the owner could be located and when I asked the cows this is exact same question they didn’t respond, they just looked worried ! Coincidence ? Or have they been got at by “them” ? You decide !
  14. Well, in the last week mate I have seen the whole of Elland Road and the whole of Anfield do it and no doubt they ain’t alone……go figure mate.
  15. Britain’s a funny old place……. some peaceful people sit down in the road to make a point about something they care about and we want them smashed to bits because they are all the c**ts under the sun…… A load of foreigners and their pets smash the gaff to bits, vandalise our history, call us all rude names, force everyone to grovel about on their knees and we all stand and clap them in our tens of thousands. Bizarre !
  16. Is that the Parkas I wonder?, they had a decent little club going there for a while run by Alec. Some lovely machines there, my pal Nic lives just up from the Catcracker and would be the go to bloke for everything “scooter” in Stanford and corringham. Danny just bought himself a Lambretta I was told, except this time he is probably taxed and insured and not getting chased round town by the old bill like when we was kids ! Lol
