I think the answer is simple, when Liverpool played Real Madrid in the champions league final Sergio Ramos won them the game in the first 15 minutes by just hitting Sala…….Ronaldo Nazario was getting hit like that 20 times a game, every game and still was unplayable. Messi can’t do that, nor can Ronaldo……just couldn’t, end of story mate. Bu the way, no need to concede, it’s just an interesting conversation….there don’t have to be a “winner” lol

Ronaldo did the business in Brazil, Holland, Spain (twice) Italy (twice), internationally 2 world cups (golden boot just to top it)……..I could copy and paste his personal honours but nobody would read it to the end, it’s too long. To me, he just can’t be compared to anyone else……I suppose the question is, if you are picking a team to win a champions league final and you have to choose, Ronaldo Nazario, Messi or Ronaldo…..who do you pick ? I don’t think any of the top managers ever would think twice, Ronaldo Nazario gets picked every time…..it’s almost not even a question imho

Remember, not the modern Fanny’s game…..doing this every week against, at the time, the best defenders in the world and getting absolute chunks taken out of him all the time…….he is the fastest, most powerful running centre forward I ever witnessed with the ball at his feet ! For me, he is the best ever…..

Lost 3-1 to city but did it actually playing some football and having a go. A few mistakes and a cracking 3 goals from Haaland were the difference but we had chances ourselves did it all actually trying to play a bit of football. Breath of fresh air.

Been chatting it over with my Mrs, we met at the time Oasis was big so that’s a sound track to a lot of memories. I was 23 when they released “Whats the story…..” My thoughts are, how does this 53 year old overweight bloke relate to that dashing blade of a 23 year old ?…….there’s too much risk it fucks up so many amazing memories. It was great, I had a fantastic time….I’ll leave that preserved, it has more value to me.

From a trying something new perspective I think playing the likes of City etc is exactly what you want……from a trying not to get done in 10-0, maybe not so much mate !

For REALLY cold weather it’s a canvas hot tent…..but your bag is more important than your bivvy, with a good bag you will get away with a tarp to keep you dry. In British climate you won’t need a hot tent, it’s just a nice thing to have….a 5 season bag will cover every eventuality. Ive slept out in big storms with temps down to -6 and never been cold…..that’s a good bag, a waterproof cover and thin bivvy.

Yeah, that’s the thing I watched, if it’s just outside a van then 1500/2000 head won’t be too sorry in a double skin…..anything that requires 5000 /10000 HH would see most blokes getting back in the van ! Lol

The main job is that the football isn’t shite mate, who knows how we do, our usual mid table is fine by me but at least it’s a step in the right direction on the pitch…….Mogadon Moyes is so highly rated he is presenting radio shows ! Lol…….the microphone is on the 3rd floor but he is playing it safe and sitting deep in the basement ! Lol

It comes down to space and mobility, if the space don’t matter and mobility isn’t an issue then a bivvy is fine if your don’t mind sleeping with a door wide open or breathability isn’t an issue. That said, sleeping with the door down will require good water proof sleep system as you are effectively sleeping in a still with a bivvy and they will condensate heavily. If camping is it’s sole purpose then a proper purpose made tent with a porch and ventilation is the way forward, its what they are designed for…..can get them in all sizes. I saw one from Asda on the telly last night,

I think you have a good point there mate, that Brentford forward line can be devastating but that’s not just down to Toney, it’s Wissa and Mbumo (spel ?) as well and how Frank coaches that team to play……Utd would be the better move football wise for him and he does know how to score a goal at his current team, so who knows ?

Who’s that brother ? Greenwood ? 22 and in Liegue 1 ??……that statement is a bit “Delli Aliwill be the greatest ever” for my liking amigo……if they thought he would get them 20-30 a season he would have gone nowhere, but, let’s just say he does develop into some 25 a season regular type player who is a proper pro and living right ?…..he can always come back a more experienced player and everyone will have forgotten why he went in the first place…..win/win ??

I’m not being hysterical or over exaggerating when I say I have a suspicion that Starmer may be the most sinister prime minister the country was ever stupid enough to elect……I think in 12 months there are going to be an awful lot of people wishing they had got out and used their vote. Country is heading towards a cliff edge mate and I can’t see it being pretty…..jmho of course
