I think Fergie was the greatest of his generation just for clarity mate. I think he would last about 2 minutes now with young players but his record will stand forever. But he was a cheeky old b*****d who knew how play mind games, which I love by the way, so he isn’t in a position to lecture anyone.

Fergie is full of shit and just said whatever he thought gave him an edge in any particular situation, that’s not a gripe by the way, fair play to him because that’s what it’s all about. But he can’t talk about respecting a competition because it was basically him that treated the FA cup like shit in the first place by withdrawing to go and play the world club cup.

I have two older kids of 21 & 22…..both cracking along doing alright, I just take a view of if you want to go and do something off you go and when you want to come home, just come home ! My oldest has in the last 3 years moved out, moved to wales, moved back again, moved to Belfast, bought a house and sold a house…..and she has a great job and now she is at home until she decides what she wants to do next. The younger has gone and moved in with the boyfriend, has a decent job on good money and is happy for a minute, if she changes her mind she just comes home…..whatever, couldn’t

The fuckers eat anything mate, the terrier had 3 whole chickens last week (out the freezer), a whole garlick sausage and was still eating the Brussels sprouts off the plants the Mrs had grown….. He started to eat a fox before !!! I was on a shoot with my old lurcher once, had my lab with me as well, shot a pheasant and they both marked it and the lurcher was off before the lab could move and picked it almost as it hit the floor…..and promptly ate the whole thing on the spot, feathers, feet, beak…the lot !……that raised a few eyebrows amongst the other guns ! lol

Excellent post, completely agree with that. My younger daughter worked in a butchers in a supermarket about 5 years ago, she’d have been 17 at the time, she came home and said one of the older blokes was being a bit creepy and it made he feel uncomfortable. So I said “right, we can do this two ways, I can come in tomorrow and sort it out or you can stand up for yourself and report it and say something” She said “No dad, I’ll sort it out” and she did and the bloke apologised and she was never bothered again. It was a valuable life lesson because she always sticks up for her

Funny enough, I had a very interesting and enjoyable weekend with a skinhead bird who was about 40 at the time….covered in tattoos and angry, amazing. To make sure people knew I was an open minded chap, I also had an equally amazing evening with a little spit fire of an Anti Nazi League bird who had been doing her nut at me and my pals for about 3 hours in a boozer one night……I guess politics knows no borders ! lol
