Thanks mate And thats some very good advice from jd take time to find out what will really suit you. Work your dog and find out where it lacks what wont your dog do that you would like to? like for say if your dogs an out and out rabbiter and you want to be able to retrieve faster fitter game then go for a more suited dog from the right parents of what [bANNED TEXT] want. Its no good just thinking that [bANNED TEXT] would like to retrieve fox then get a dog for it and then after a week or so of its first season realise it isn't for you. Well see it as a good thing, when u go ferreting you wont have to waste time ferreting empty sets A good marking dog is a god send to ferreters The digging isnt really ideal but its only a problem if you alow it to be. Just stick at it mate take it everywhere with you and you will have a lot of fun with him, makes growing up more interesting and will get you out in all weathers and seasons in the countryside. You will learn alot and have gain alot of memories trust me i would never be with out a lurcher or 2 now And wait till you see it catch its first real charlie the buzz you get is like nothing else David

Spent a week down there a couple of years back, didn't fish it but spent most days swimming in it, iv got some good memories of that place
