Walshy lad. You had these (untried) Bedlingtons on here for stud not so long ago. I remember seeing the same Bedlingtons for sale on EPUPZ at the same time http://www.epupz.co....asp?view=321631 You denied it in this thread http://www.thehuntin...howtopic=144515 - saying that your Missus advertised them to wind you up. Now you are getting into Falconry and the dogs must go. What will it be next? fishing, kite flying, or maybe some other hobby. I know a few bird men, and those birds can't half be temperamental in the wrong hands. In other words, someone who treats dogs as commodities, to

It will be the same old story - the Sun and other tabloids will whip the nation into a frenzy of expectation. Then when Brazil/Spain/Argentina or dare I mention it Germany, knock them out, the recriminations will start, and with a vengeance. The same media will go for the jugular - players, Capello, anything to whip the nation once more into a reverse frenzy, this time of finger pointing and punishment. It will almost seem like the back pages of a few weeks previous just didn't exist. Someone tell me I'm wrong.

Another pointless thread, posted just to cause an argument. Who gives a flying fvck about a bunch of overpaid prima donnas? Half of the squad are not even really English anyway.
-
My, what narrow and polarised views you have Smudger. So all Scots are thieves, and Glaswegians are all brain dead drunks. Get yourself down the Legion for a few half pints of thier cheapest bitter - I bet you sing the national anthem before they chuck you out too.

Well done TT and Floyd He'll have that in the memory bank all summer.

No mate, Served with, lived in and got long memory. Wife Irish, it's just down to respect or lack of it. Scotland are playing very well, just being let down by their supporters, !! Oh, I see, you were bullied or perhaps intimidated by one or two Scottish soldiers. I knew it had to be something. I've seen posts like this from you before Smudger, don't just sit behind your keyboard, if you feel that strongly about it, get yourself up to Glasgow (next Saturday night would probably be the best time) and tell the locals just how you feel about them. It will be the most exiting night of y

No offence mate, but I'm talking about real working dogs, dogs that were bred to put their head in where it hurts.
-
Fvck me Smudger, you really do have a "thing" about Scottish people don't you. I've probably said it before, but did you once lose a wife/girlfriend to the Celtic charms of a handsome Scotsman? Or maybe when you were younger, did some big Jock give you the benefit of what was lurking beneath his kilt?

The Kennel Club and it's flagship show are on their last legs, the world has caught on to their nasty little game. The main sponsor (Pedigree petfoods) has pulled the plug, and the BBC has abandoned the whole charade. Most of the people who support this charade, are no friends of the faithful dog, and are on the whole THE ENEMY of working breeds. "Fit for purpose?" just take a look at the Lakeland or Bedlington entry - fit to stand on a table and be preened and coiffed by some ill informed old dear.

Oops, someones tired. I got the little black bitch for nothing - I didn't breed her! But if you honestly think a docked tail would make her a better worker.............. Oh, and sorry she's got a nick on her nose.
-
My young Patt/Fell type, just started work. The two or three Foxes she has worked didn't seem to notice that she wasn't docked.

27. But I heard later that there was a Foxy wedding going on in that particular earth. So 25 of them were probably visiting family.

another dig with russells & beddys

Well done lads. -
The dog in my avatar was a Beddy X Lakeland 1st cross. I've never seen a full Bedlington that I could honestly say was better than him. (I honestly wish I could). Out today with my "pure"? Beddy and my little Fell/Beddy hybrid. Found a couple of foxes in the rocks, bolted one.

Working strains of Bedlington can and sometimes do suffer from copper toxicosis, though thankfully are usually in a different league constitution wise to the fluffy white imposters. Also, Rambo was a one off, a throw back, and Stuart actually bred many litters of hybrids. maybe stuwart did breed from rambo [cross breeds]but john bred rambo mate not stewart.and mine were from rambos litter brother and rambos grandaughter and they grafted good if anything to hard, prety good for pure breeds i should think.but yes its rearly the working ones end up with copper toxicosis thats why they have a

A good working Bedlington usually has some nose on him. I have a little black bitch who seems to have no trouble finding so far.
-
Yeah he works. A tad big for some holes, but when he gets to them, they know all about it.
-
My little black hybrid bitch dropped in a big sett today, after a bit of scooting around, and appearing at several holes, she bolted a nice dice dog fox, and was right on his brush as he bolted. Early days yet, but she's doing well so far.

Just checked weather forecast - - Today heavy snow Fri - more snow Sat - sleet.

They are my Celtic brethren. Of course I shall cheer for them. And it will probably be Holland in the world cup - nothing against the English, but I don't think I have it in me to support an Itallian and his overpaid half cast eleven (woops, that made me sound a tad racist) and just a little politically incorrect) No swaggering claims about Scotlands chances against the French. If we can keep the points difference under 10, I'll be happy. Not bitterning

Hey Swamps. I work with a fella who seems to have a bee in his bonnet about the Jocks. Recently, we were planning a stag weekend for another lad, and I suggested Glasgow. I told my anti Scottish colleague that this would be an ideal destination for him, as he could tell as many Scottish people as he likes just how he feels about them. Strangely, he thought this a bad idea, and plumped for Manchester. Shame really, could have been fun. Swamps, why bleat about it (no pun intended) on the internet? Why don't you take a trip over to Welsh Wales, and share your feelings with the locals
