    Do you ever

I'm sure the irony hasn't escaped you Longdogrunner, but you have managed to tally up a further 8 post on this very subject. We all have a long long way to go though to get anywhere near KAY, Most of her posts give a whole new meaning to the word BANAL.
  3. Nope, this is off my own bat, no one has asked me or told me to post it Nice one J G, That demonstrates initiative and maturity. I wouldn't want anyone to brand you a jobsworth. Keep up the good work.
  4. Is someone enjoying their responsibilities a wee bit too much?
  5. Fook, Skinners grown up all Irish Wolfhound ish. Should be tackling one or two this season.
  6. I would like to see some pics of that coco, not because i disbelive, just cause i"m very interested. They used to be very game lil dogs, nice to see that someone still has some workers, good on ya keep the good blood flowing. frank buck put beddie in his old lakies togive em coat enough to stick the fells in rough winter weather I thing Bedlington would be the last blood to give any dogs a good coat.
  7. Many happy returns SJ. It's got to be the most longest running and most prolific thread on THL.
  8. Nice one Michael. Blue looks as if he's got a good arse hold in there.
  9. Sorry to be a fly in the ointment SJ, but a great number of "Bedlingtons" would pass this white board test with flying colours, but the same handy sized dogs will never see the sharp end of a fox, and if they did , most wouldn't have the pluck to deal with it. Coversley, I got a Vixen and two largish cubs on friday night with my 17" dog, in quite a tight spot in an earth under some scrap cars in my mates scrap yard. He told me a bloke had been in a while back with two Russel types, and all the dogs did was a lot of barking, with no end product. My big lad was in and out in 35 minutes, job d
  10. You're right, I have said I wasn't 100% convinced by him, he hadn't done anything wrong, bit on the lazy/slow side. He Killed a bitch pup I had, got some tempermental issues which seem to be getting better as he gets older, but to date he hasn't failed ie he does his job and does it well, works exactly like Milly, up and at em and mixing it... similar breeding, dam same, Yogi's his sire...I don't think I'd have any issues or worries about size as they're pretty much level.... I know he's still a young dog but my options are limited as you know, do I wait another season, I seen enough fro
  11. I found myself absolutely ensconced by that. The most interesting thing I've read in ages.
  12. That fox looks like he was enjoying himself This "Bedlington expert" .... What kind of Bedlingtons did he have? Bushers no doubt. Edited to say, the dogs head looks in proportion to the rest of him. I've seen dogs with half his head size bossing Charlie. Heart size for me every time.
  13. Looks like more than a touch of Lakey Pidge, but as long as the dog does a job for you. I had a Lakey/Beddy 1st cross years back and he sired some very handy lurchers.
  14. Bloody hell Shell, I'm not the most emotional bloke in the world, but that struck a chord with me. They give you so much, and they are gone all too soon. All the best Dave

    was his name George Agdedegwayo?
  16. Foget that post - I'm in , I go by the name of RELIGEOUSLYUNKIND.
  17. I've registered - apparently I'm Jimmy ReRe ? I've been directed to a google like page called Sentrillion which insults you when you try to make a search lol. What do I do next?
  18. Just go to any of the game fairs this summer Oyama, you'll see loads of working Bedlingtons. At least thats what thier owners call them. Strangely, not a mark on most of them.
  19. Looks like he's going to be a sTRong lad SJ.
  20. your right about the coats very dark .ive only seen granitor bedlingtons work Ever seen a Granitor work a fox Shogan? - It's not a trick question, I'm genuinely interested. I must have looked at half a dozen Granitor litters in the past couple of years, all advertised as "working parents" to say I was disapointed every time. Did Holden actually ever work his stuff (chasing rabbits doesn't count I'm afraid) I'm starting to wonder if the Granitor thing is one big urban myth.
  21. Shogan, wgen you say pedigree Bedlingtons, do you mean KC reg stuff or just purebred Bedlingtons in general?
  22. I have always liked the look of those Plashett Bedlingtons, nice size, decent dark coats, wether they could do a proper job though ? You hear of "working" Granitors here and there, but I've still never come accross one that works - I mean properly works.
