  1. Can't knock Joe for heart and workrate, but the lack of power and a real knockout punch was a serious problem for him at the top level. The truth is Joe out worked and slapped most of his opponents into defeat. http://www.boxingnews24.com/2008/04/is-calzaghe-overrated/
  2. Ricky is a genuine nice guy, I've met him a few time at amateur nights and the odd sportsmans dinner, and nothing is too much trouble for him as far as talking to fans and giving advice to young fighters is concerned. HOWEVER.............. He isn't quite the world class fighter that the British public and press have hyped him up to be. He's a come ahead square on boxer making the most of what he's got. He was taken down the usual Brit route of the easier road to the top (or ner the top). At the end of the day he was found wanting at the highest level - Maywether and Pacquio. Kosta Ts
  3. Looks a strong one, good jacket on him too. Best of luck with him.
  4. Honeymist is pure show stuff, and derived from Stanolly. Granitors can and do work (sometimes) though never saw one in front of a fox.
  5. I think Mfannwy can be ruled out for obvious reasons.
  6. Sorry - should have said it's a bitch.
  7. I'm picking a new dog up in a few weeks from Welsh Wales. Any ideas on a good name?
  8. Most digging dvd's don't tell the full story, they show you the dig as it is edited. Very few digging dvd's are shown in real time, i.e. from start to finish, as it would be a tad boring to watch a lad erm digging a hole for the most part. BBB, did you ever get out on a dig with Stuart Staley or Nigel Base? I suspect the answer is no.

The only ferrets Paul O'Grady knows about are CHUTNEY FERRETS.
  10. Those terriers looked like they had others things than the heat on their minds. Been a long time since I did a bit of walling. - none to speak of round here.
  11. A few pics I took recently. (apologies if you have seen similar on the working Beddy site.
  12. I think it was a 14 year year old lad who started this nonsense - absolutely fine if you are a 14 year old lad. But then the usual suspects just keep pounding and pounding away at it - one poster (the most prolific on THL) has managed to post on this most childish and banal of subjects ..over 112 times . you know ho you are! Fvcking unbelievable. Ask some of these people to talk about hunting or if they have any ideas on how to repeal the hunting act, and they don't have so much to say. A shame really.
  13. I like Hatton, but he's all heart and very little class - as Mayweather showed. Pacquio to win by stoppage before round 10.
  14. Caught a few Hares? Years ago I had one who was out with the lurchers 4/5 days a week for years. In all that time he caught 1 full grown Hare whilst being tuned by the lurchers.
  15. point is its interesting seeing what people can think of. LOL Interesting .. how?
  16. Mine has caught a few bunnies out in the open. but more in cover.
  17. Some can take squatters and the odd runner, in fact Langley Charmer who comes on here lamps his with some success. It wouldn't be my idea of fun though - a dog who uses his nose, and can get to ground, running loose in the dark, could be asking for trouble. Beddy X Whippet or Greyhound makes much more sense.
  18. This is my Snowy, proper working Bedlington, done it all.
  19. Has Abdul Galloway been tidying up again?
  20. A couple of crackers, should give you both a lot of fun this summer.
  21. Well done lad, no stopping you now.
