  1. If you find one Frosty, don't forget to come back and tell us how good he's working, how he's knocking foxes around underground, and how well he hunts and uses his nose. Tell us how resiliant he is, how strong in the jaw he turned out to be, how brave he is and how his coat stands up to the weather. .......... I won't hold my breath.
  2. It was on the news before - bomb goes off in South Shields town centre .... and does £6 million pounds worth of improvements.
  3. Got this red fella this morning with my young scruffy Beddy. Just out for a walk, dog works him through a huge bramble patch and bolts him accross the field, Fox goes under the floor of an old demolished building, after a bit of give and take, Spike pulls Charlie out. Once again, he got a really bad bite on the leg (fox had a grip on his leg as he drew it.) He's limping around like a goodun now,
  4. Someone sent me these the other day, very clever. And to think I used to see stuff like this regular when I was on the magic mushrooms
  5. If you have the dogs for the job, an abundance of game and permission, and most importantly, the time to put into the game, 90 + digs a season is definately on.
  6. "Arrow? ... what arrow?........... King Harold - battle of Hastings 1066
  7. I believe that Plummers can be dug to - small, aggressive terriers, shouldn't be a problem. Give me one as a pup and I'm sure I could get it going to fox. Maybe the problem is that most Plummer owners aren't really interested in the sporting side of the breed - a death sentence for any working breed. I didn't say they can't be dug to - my comment on your pic was tongue in cheek. Each to their own I say, Plummers for you, Beddies for me.

    HELP

My wife is in hospital, and I want to make some pancakes for my lads. (Never had to do it before) - What is the mixture for the batter? i.e. how much flour , eggs etc.
  12. I've had Beddies and Beddie hybrids in the past worked fox to ground (seen by plenty) and the young dog I have now has been on a few digs - had 3 reds , One on top, one in an earth and one in a drain. I can't quite figure it out BB&B but WTF IS EATING YOU WHEN IT COMES TO BEDLINGTONS???? Reading between the lines, it seems that you had a poor Bedlington at one time, and now seem quite embittered towards the breed. Perhaps you have found your level - thats why you now keep Brians Beagle cross Jack Russells.
  13. There are still one or two who are more than "bunny dogs".
