marrow chutney mate, my mother and grandmother make it and its a staple all year with cheese. i dont know what it is in it so i cant tell sorry but maybe google it?
as for alanos there the only true working mastiff left and from talking owners and breeders i have no doubt that they can really do there job and would be invaluable for any hunter especially on bigger things! old neo cross im not sure about but sure theyd be good on the boar, fair play mate what a big headed cracker .
out of curiosity where did you get him from ive been looking for an alano breeder in this country but couldnt find one and now going out to spain to pick one up
you could always store them in a bucket of sand in a cool place i have done this with carrots and parsnips alot in the past [mimicing nature] pickling aswell but you will lose the delicate taste or freezing but i have never tried it so not 100%, hope this helps

ther wernt all the cleaning products that there are now. trouble is people try and keep there kids so clean that they dont build up a natural immunity to common ailments, theres some old sayin about eatin a pound of dirt befor ya die to keep you healthy. back then the veg had a bit of dirt on it a few grubs etc etc it kept you well. all i seem to see is pale faced fat kids eatin crisps and drinking coke. on the plus side all these idiotc families living in the spotless show home will a few generations down the line will be disease ridden white faced oxygen masked pathetic excuses of humans[dar

over the last few days my terriers nose has been peeling of from the bridge and now has reached nearly to the tip leaving it looking very pink.now he doesnt seem to be in to much discomfort but this is the first time i have seen this and a little concerned . has anybody experienced this befor or got advice as to why this could be happening. unfortunatly i cant take any photos because my cameras bust. thanks folks
