  8. yes ,especialy if you only got something like a computer screen to learn of ,nothing beats a hands on lesson . SEE HOW LUCKY YOU ARE ?
  9. that is when you learn to be good at your job ,and if you learn your dog at a early age to work the lamp loose and always be a good distance in front of you instead of being by your side ,then it is half way to the game before it has to start running .,we all do it different ,that is a way i picked up on 20 odd yeas ago and has made life a lot easier than keep on sliping ,and waiting for the dog to come back to you ,so you can put the slip back on ,plus you dont have to keep on calling it back .or waiting for it to get over a fence ,that is what brain can help achieve .rather than speed .
  10. they need to be small in size mate, i get them into an email then transfer them to here putting them in an email automatically makes em smaller [memory wise]
  11. time and experience i suppose, time is the easy part but to get experience for the dog and owner since the ban is a bit harder for people just getting into the game
  12. now that sounds like a good dog the same man that owned this dog ,turns all his dogs out to a similar standard ,because he tried something different years ago ,starting them young .and he is still doing it ,if he had wrote a book or bragged about what he has done and achived ,he would make all your so called LURCHER EXPERTS past and present look like amateurs . unfit - in your opinion is startin em young better than waiting till there mature? or does it depend on the breeding?
