    Another 2 polecats caught next to the pen. This will help save the birds.

    When out i'm usually with a mate who shoots and i lamp and squeak the foxes. I know where best to position the motor for my mate to get a rest off the bonnet. Got a good set up and it works and safe.

    Heard of some folk using a tattie box with a cover over it with bags stored in it, as long as its sealed around to prevent rodents getting in.

    Nice head you got there. Shot a few sika in fife, found the heads to be really different, from good heads to strange heads. Always wanted to hear them whistle during the rut but never heard them.

    Yip all cubs, combines where out again so a few more parks to look over, my friend whos about 10 mins away had 5 cubs the other night beside him.

    Decided to have a quick look out last night with the light as there is a few stubble parks now. Went into first field and there was 2 foxes, squeaked 1 in and took care of that 1, moved over the field to next bit picked up another fox. Got a steady rest on a round bale and number 2 was taken care off. Moved to another couple of fields where there was nothing showing. Went up to a grass park and picked up a fox half way up the face so out and got a lean on the bonnet, number 3 taken care off. Drove about 30 yards and hear was another charlie, out on to the bonnet and number 4 taken care off. Ju

    My keeper friend is down outside perth, Use to get a few stoats in traps but not many ferrets/polecats at the estate i worked at outside ellon.

    Saw 5 bucks chasing does last weekend, pulled 2 bucks with the call, managed to get 2 with a client. Aberdeenshire.

    Having a job trying to get photos on.

    My keeper friend caught what was killing the poults, big pole cat, was trying to get under the gate into the pen. Didn't make it under as the terrier got a hold a soon made light work of the pole cat. Saved a few more poults.

    Had a client out at weekend past there. Was out the sat morning and spotted a nice buck up in a set aside field just up from where we had parked the motor. The wind was perfect for a stalk so set off up the track, buck was feeding up the same way as us. Got within yards of the buck, who was standing broadside on, out in the field so opened the shooting sticks, client got himself steady and bang, clean miss, buck took off up to the wood. The client couldn't believe he missed, but he went right over the top. Out the sat night and in the same spot here was the buck he missed that morning,

    Obviously you don't have glass if your walking, just use your hand.

    Yip like spangle said just wet the end and either on the wing mirror or down the side of window. Can work really well.
