  3. who ever told you whippets have bad feet are talking complete shite they have better feet then most lurchers yes some whippets do suffer from having fine skin and coats but not all whippets.a good whippet is a hard dog 2 beat at rabbiting for any cross.

  8. seen 3 while out lamping bout 2 months ago seen the eyes gave 2 squells they came flying up couldnt belive me eyes id say they were bout 3 months old how they survied threw the big freeze is beyond me.

  13. was in liverpool 2 weeks ago after a nights clubing we walked back 2 were we stayed took us bout half an hour 2 walk an i seen 7 foxes round the streets couldnt belive my eyes.

  16. my mate had a saluki grey that loved fox was the best dog i have ever seen on them would make catching them look so easy and could finish them off fast would pick them anywhere he could but as soon as he got a chance for the troat he would get it and good nite fox.have a bich here and she aint 2 to bad either still young but learning all the time

  18. i have the same problem with my cocker dog, he will flush anything out of cover and will let you know when he's on a scent, but he does get carried away and will start to hunt up on his own, sometimes 100 yrds or so in front, i got him when he was 18 mths old, is it to late to teach him and how would i go about doing it? if i'am taking over the thread i do appologise. dont no if theres much you can do with him mate at this age thats why i allways get my terriers as pups so i can train them the way i like them 2 hunt.they are a very lively breed of dog so id say u would have 2 start trainni
  19. i was out with a lad not 2 long back who had a pair of springers were great dogs 2 hunt big heavy cover and forestrees but when hunting ditches and dikes had a habbit of running on ahead hunting on bout 50 yards ahead of us which i found a pain as my lurcher works 2 heal and my terriers are steady and they kept dragging them on.
