    Hi tom, it does sound as if your dogs are playing up because they feel a little jealous/neglected of your new arrival (congratulations) and therefore are trying to get your attention they are playing up ... when i has my son and daughter i'd allow my dogs to continue as normal as part of the family, but i did kept an eye on them when around the kids for the first couple of months just to make sure. Now my 2x jrt's can often be found by my sons side and who are very protective of both my kids. It's as people say, you know your own animal. ! atb

    I was in the same sittuation recently where a local stud farm owner called me saying that they were over run with rabbits and asked if i could come over and give her a price to get rid... I went over and had a look i spotted about 20 in the one field alone (there's 6 fields in total) and said at the end of the day i do this as enjoyment and for the sport and as long as she'd cover my fuel and what ever ammo i use to which she £65, anyway it took 12 visits over 3 weeks to dispatch 178 rabbits to which she was more than pleased with, she paid me my expensses and said there was something else in

    There is a medication available over the counter in all major chemists called loperimide, that'll do the job` i know this as i get it prescribed to my patients

    Well said lads, manksie why would you wanna breed from them anyway, there are loads kits from good working lines available foc or for a small price (cough £50 quid ferrets )... the point i'm making is that if you have any intention of breeding from your ferrets at any point make sure you have trusted homes lined up as you'll end up right up shite creek and stuck with them...
