  1. Tipical!!! I take a week away on holiday and get back to a decent post thats gonna take me a month to read!! So could someone precis it for me. How many 'bunny girls' have you got and is it going to happen? And for god's sake dont choose the RSPCA as your charity. You'll lose a lot of buyers. P.S. The better half has just reminded me...Blokes can do it too!!! 5-6 yrs ago a bunch of local vintage tractor enthusiasts did a nude calender that kept running out of print, age range?....40 to 72. "All done the the best possible taste" of course.
  2. I work the runs with box traps where the growth has already created a tunnel at field boundries etc.So no need for bait. Get a good catch rate once in place and locked open for a few days first to let them get used to it. Its a simple home made set up that uses a passive 'trigger' they 'bump' to the side to get past releasing both doors at the same time. Humane as it's live catch and offers shelter from elements for the short time in there. I stop off and set them on way home from work then check at dusk while out with dogs. Then lock open untill next eve, reset, and away again. 12 traps o
  3. I don't have that prob so I'm guessing it's something your end. It may be an option on the site or your browser for viewing that you've accidentally changed.
  4. Exactly. Give them respect. Stretch 'em, chop 'em or chin 'em. Any way do it quick and properly and minimise their suffering. We are hunters, respect your quarry. Cheers, D. TOTALLY AGREE
  5. This one works best for me. But on a good day out will switch to chinning them,(Side of hand can get feckin sore)
  6. And surprisingly peanut butter. Gets almost everything trappable
  7. Best one I've found is Fractix. No ads,Your own domain name, site design software, lots of add-ins.Unlimited bandwidth. Less than £10.00 for three years (inc domain name). My site still under construction but is on line. The lnk is below.
  8. thats not possible doubling up, would turn it into 2"x1" you'd have to treble it for 1"x1" just picking at straws me not if you offset it but i wanted them as lightly constructed as possible so as not to scare the rabs off correct, but then the bars would'ent match up to get the crimps on,lol Trust me I'm an engineer. would add half the thickness and double the weight for that area. Rabbits wouldn't be fazed by it as long as they see light.(not the brightest of creatures) I use wooden versions just have mesh at the 'exit' end,I've had no probs in right localit
  9. or if 2x2 is all you've got double it up at the bait end with big enough offcut to make it 1x1
  10. Personally I find it easier to carry and use a thumb stick

  15. Goto http://www.mirrorservice.org/sites/ftp.ibi...3-h/17093-h.htm Read section on bird traps (about half way through)
  16. Here is a link to the W&C Act. Anyone who does any trapping in the UK should familiarise themselves with it. Thanks for that Matt. I've only had a brief look at this but have added to my favourites for a good thorough read later. I have had a brief chat with a couple of Gamekeepers I know who are also going to try and get a definative answer to this,As they say it's the birdlime that has been outlawed not the trap but whether a lighter adhesive that allows the release of non target birds without harm or undue stress is still illegal they don't know at present. The birdlime
