I'll just have to change that little bit in 'My dogs' O.K so the title of this post is now DEERHOUND X LURCHER!!!! Thanks guy's >>>>>

  7. Repeatedly shout "DEAD", thats going to go down a treat whilst out lamping. On a serious note just tap the dog on the nose or pries the rabbit free with your fingers whilst saying leave or what ever command you choose, it will soon get the message. But don't forget if its he's first catches, loads of praise even when you are trying to get your bunny back. Sorry.......... I was assuming daylight training. wouldn't take a dog lamping if I knew would not deliver and release pretty quickly. >>>>>
  8. I do not doubt you for one second, but my experience of Reacue centres is they constanly get confused with two types of dogs lurcher type and Bull terrier types. To illustrate my point I recnently seen a stafordshire Bull terrier for rehoming in a kennel not far from me, it was a Bull terrrier but not the type that they thought. Also during recent raids following the unfortunate events here some lurchers were seized for being of pitbull type it has not yet surfaced yet that they were rehomed from the same shelter were they are now impounded less than a year before all legit and above board. O

  11. Mine used to do same, but after a bit of perseverence they release. Try having a plastic bag of cubed cheese in pocket,Repeatadly shout 'DEAD' while offering piece of cheese and lifting rabbit upwards from him. If cheese doesn't work try something you know he really likes. >>>>>

  15. At last areal drinker. First investment you sould make when you hit English turf would be the purchase of 'The good beer guide'. And a pen to cross 'em off as you drink em. Dont bother with all that foriegn,Chemical ridden, girlie water stuff called larg.....la...large...lar...Sorry can't bring myself to say THAT word. And if you want any help you can PM a few of us proper drinkers..No probs.
  16. Right just wieghed him (nearly did me back in doing it) he's 48kgs. And just checked the paperwork we got from the rescue, he was born in reland summer 2005. Sire was Irish wolfhound, dam was a racing greyhound. Owner of greyhound was going to have the whole litter put down when they were born, but owner of wolfhound stepped in and involved Blue Cross.Wolfhound owner ended paying costs (vet, food etc) to greyhound owner until after pups weaned,He then had two of them, other 4 were taken for rehoming by blue cross, then failing to rehome 2 of them after 6 months blue cross shipped them to Eng
  17. He's nowhere as big as a wolfhound, measures 29" at the shoulders but he is stocky. Can't remember how much he wieghed in at last time we were at the vets but he's a hefty lump over 30kgs(Had to lift him into the bath on sunday (rolled in fox sh1t3) His turning and braking do leave a bit to be desired. but he's as keen as mustard and has no fear. Has caught the odd rabbit at the lamp cos he'll trot up to them and pounce while they're sqatting. the dark brindle (middle pic)is the real catcher, He's not a ped but mostly greyhound. >>>>>
  18. Got my boy two years ago. Came from Ireland via Blue Cross Rescue. Got bags of stamina, and was surprised how quick he learned (mostly from my older boy,the Dk brindle) Just wondered if anyone else had same. >>>>>

Do you want both plans?,Let me know. If it helps the dims i've gleened for the ladder trap are, Hieght= 10',Width= 9',Length=12' Ladder rungs are 8" apart except the central gap which is 8 1/2".The inside dim for the ladder width is 12". The whole structure seems to be made from 4" X 2". Entrance door appears to be normal door sort of size. There are no instructions or cutting list for it just a
