We have managed to sort out a second lot of land its behind the Little chef place up the road, more walking for me but i need the excersize to keep me fit I can aslo make use of the little chefs loo as well :whistle:

Put in the empty bottle some uncooked rice & fill with a small amount of water,shove your finger in the hole & shake the thing, it does work i do mine like this all the while

Both of mines fur round the neck & ears is a very deep orange colour & also round the bollox thats gone all a deeper colour still

Where they in with any males before you got them ? I would get them to the vets, the swelling really needs to be reduced as there so low to the ground & its a breeding ground for infection,regardless of age

I also wondered if it would work underground, i suppose an email to them will confirm if it does or not I have emailed them & will post up a reply if i get one off them

Personally i would go for an adult as a first ferret, kits are lovely but to a novice could proove a handfull, why not seek out a rescue place in your area & go along & i am sure they will have a ferret that will be just right for you & your needs. One bit of advice i will give you is if you intend to work the ferret some rescues wont re home to anyone who works, not all rescues , just some If you put the area your from on this thread i will try & find a rescue in your area,assuming your ok with that route

Why dont you spray some WD40 on the hinges a couple of times a year, i do it here & any hinges soon come loose that had rusted a bit
