I havent personally had one loose its coat , but know a few people whos ferrets have gone totally bald , i would pop the ferret to the vets as it could be a parasite causing the hairloss

Well i went to watch the father in law & his friend this morning & it scared the life out of me, the noise they make OMG i am a wreck now, i know my son loved it & has been going out with his grandad regular for the odd hour , he is very keen I couldnt have a go as i was to scared of it i think for the first time in my life i was quiet & i shut up Well i wont give up as i now know what a racket they make , and what to expect , but it was an experience to say the least

Well i would leave months & months before trying him out, it seems a lot of people are having hobs vasectomised to find there jills are getting pregnant anyway . Yrs ago when i had one i left him around 10 weeks before using him & luckly he was infertile when i used him, worth his weight in gold as well Maybe the best time to get them vasectomised is the back end of the year allowing enough time for him to become infertile, as the jills seem to be coming into season earlier & earlier as we have seen on here from post about jills dropping litters in march time

Had it here yrs ago, next doors dog broke through all the fence panels to get into my garden, i had 2dogs at the time & it became a joke having to keep my dogs in all day because there dog was loose in my garden It took a quiet word from my husband to sort the problem & even then they left the dog outside to bark for 8 hours a day in a cage In the end 4 people from surrounding houses wrote to them & the dog was then housed indoors where it couldnt be a problem

Well the mother in law had differnt ideas like white washing the outhouse so its tomorrow now

Thank you for all this info, i wasnt sure if i should post the thread in here or where to be honest, but i am looking forward to being a spectator & both myself & my son will enjoy our day I will know exactly where to come when i need advice in the furture on anything to do with shooting, again thanks very much

I am not a drinker, i do have a drink from time to time but i only drink beer, never spirits, having been married to an alcoholic some 20 yrs ago it tends to make you realise what a complete shit life you have when your every waking thought is booze So if i do have a drink now its either Guiness or Bitter or the occasional Lager when i am in the mood which isnt very often as i am a hopeless drunk, very chatty & bold , infact the total opersite to what i am like when sober :whistle:

Thank you for the encouragment i did have a go some yrs ago at clays but i couldnt have done it right because it hurt my shoulder & i felt like i had been kicked But i will watch what goes on & hopefully have a go when i feel confident around a gun at a later date

On Friday i am going with my son & his grandad shooting , rabbits, i wont have a go :whistle: i will just watch I only hope my boy dont want a gun after this , cause he aint having one
