Oh i gave up trying to keep ferrets seperate with partitions unless there nailed down the buggers find a way of getting to each other Dont you have a spare hutch for one of them

42days + or- 2 days is the general rule, maybe she is just making sure everything is just right, my jills put on 140 gramms in the last week & looks like she is about to burst, so i am also waiting for a litter So it looks like wre both still waiting , i am like a cat on a hot tin roof

yesterday i thought this jill had dropped her litter i heard squeeking, i got all excited and ran out the back to find it was next doors bloody dog with a squeeky toy

Glad the jills doing well she wont come into season for a while yet,she may not come back in this year anyway, the kits can & will attempt to eat meat from 3 weeks onwards. Eyes open from around 4 weeks onwards as i remember it , dont worry about moving them for a good few weeks yet, never fed liver other than whats been inside a rabbit so i dunno Just put in rabbit for her & she will probably take it in the bedding bo anyway, email any pics to me if you like i will put them on here for you will pm my address

Is he being fed on meat or dry food? Is he still entire? Is he sharing a cage with another ferret?

I have never been able to get a ferret to shit in a litter tray ever, not sure if it was because of having a large number in a court ,but they were having none of of it -

when i had a 6x6 court mine climbed to the top regular slid down the wire & didnt come to any harm
