  15. I read just the other day that it does. If there's anything I have an irrational fear about, it's intestinal parasites. Yuck. After reading about garlic I ate a raw clove, quite the experience. I also think as rabbits eat wild garlic that helps them regarding parasites , i once heard that you can sometimes smell the garlic on the meat when you skin etc for using to eat , but i suppose it all depneds if there wild garlic about for them to munch on Anyone who can eat raw garlic deserves a medal , its horrible
  16. Does the ferret feel greasey when you handle it ? its probably the amount of oils they seem to excrete at this time of year laying on the skin surface & solidified had this in many hobs in season over the years & after asking the vet what it was thats what he said
  17. I am going to try this garlic trick & with any luck it will prevent them getting fleas etc , out of interest again is there any one who thinks its possibly prevents internal parasites as well
  18. congrats i would be the same as well :toast:
  19. thanks kay. the word of wisdom as ever I wouldnt use anything that i thought would harm them , thats why i have never used the spot on on a ferret , its got more of the fipronil in it per dose than the spray it was desperation speaking i thought i could dilute it but best leave that to the pros how much should a bottle of that set me back? 20 odd quid for a small one , thing is with the spray you can use it on cats dogs ferrets you have to get a dog one & cat one if you use the spot on & the cost is a lot more , so for me having dogs & a ferret its better i
