Bloody hell that reminds me when i had a woman drop off a very dark ferret here yrs ago, it was dopey as hell wrapped in a tea towl for hours then it came round , & bit me like no other bite i have ever had , it was a polecat a lesson learned the hard way

its hard to explain in words so i thought photos would be easier this question gets asked loads on here maybe there is a photobucket tutorial that can be pinned on here

if you look at the pic above where the pink arrow is right click the mouse over that link & it will say copied when you click then left click & a box comes up and click the option '' copy''

when all the photos you want have loaded in to photobucket , click where the pink arrow is & it will highlight that link & say copied, then right click & press copy once you have copied it , come on here & post the pic by hitting ctrl & v at the same time on the keyboard and the link should appear in text on your screen , to check if the pic has loaded on here go to the bottom of the page & press post preview

When the pictures come up , click on the ones you want to load into photobucket , then when you have done that click where the pink arrow is , the ones you select will have a yellow border round them like on the example here

If you have a few photos to load into photobucket click where the pink arrow is & let the pc load all your photos onto the screen JUST CLICK THIS PICTURE TO MAKE IT BIGGER & YOU CAN SEE WHAT TO PRESS ON YOUR OWN SCREEN

In my opinion the marks shown in the photograph are exactly what John B says they are..It is dried oil etc. Thats not to say that all orange spots are..but these are representative of the problem John describes. I agree it is difficult to show from photographs. Totally agree Matt i also used to get hobs with globs of dirt on the very bottom on the fur right near the bit that goes into the skin , just a build up of oils & stuff
