  7. kay the product which you are showing only says it contains ivermectin, its the main active ingreident within the dose, which is for treating, Worms, lice, and mites, you will most probably see on closer inspection, either of the following, deltamethrin, or chypermethrin, this will be the active ingreident to combat fleas.... or a similar ingreidant of which there are a few to many to name.... i hope this helps..... So the general feeling is that ivormec isnt effective against fleas , thats very interesting as people are spending money on a product formulated for ferrets amongst other small animals that claims it kills fleas & the active ingredient is ivormectin , very curious i think i shall investigate Thanks for the info folks as you can see it clearly states it contains ivormec & it is effective against fleas,

  11. Hi Nial welcome to the forum, i would think around christmas time would be ok to take the ferrets out & let them have a go i would think by the end of the season they will be getting on great
  12. That aint the proper frontline for that price,think i paid nearly £18 from the vets unless i was ripped off yes i agree with you its not frontline for that price
  13. The crate should be used as a safe haven for the pup , somewhere he feels secure & from underfoot if you have little kids to get ready in the mornings If your shoving him in it as a punnishment he wont like going in there
  14. I had a kit born here like that , it went polecat coloured at about 4 months old , but it was very silver as a kit i have some pics somewhere i will try to find them

I went my usual Sunday walk today as i went to Derby yesteday to meet some friends , i love to see if the swans are about & went in my usual spot , all i saw was a lot of geese , so i walked round the lake to the opersite side , i spotted 2 pairs of swans & was curious to see the new pair I spotted the pair & the cygnets in there usuall place & another 2 smaller swans all fluffed up & looked a bit unsettled I am not sure if there a male & female pair or 2 young males but the big cob was not a happy chap , he ket the new swans at bay while i fed the mom & he
  21. I have had a lot of bee's in the garden this year & like you found i had no problem with then at all , they were congrigating on a huge schrub i have in the garden & had to walk under part of it where they were hanging about , rather a privlidge to have them i think
  22. Theres loads up here still but its a bit difficult to get to them as there on an old railway embankment & quite high up , but i think i might see if i can get a few to make something
  23. Quite a few people i know feed mice to there ferrets & i am told there rather expencive to buy from pet shops
