  6. You clearly havent read any of that , the ferret belonging to haylee gee from wolverhampton had been vaccinated over a year ago , so isnt there a chance it was simply due a booster ? the lady who runs the rescue at wolverhampton DIDNT vaccinate , so thats just tough luck
  7. Thats not strictly true , one persons claiming that there ferrets were vaccinated with 2 different vaccines , now what are the chances of 2 different vaccines NOT providing enough immunity to the host animals concerned, I would think the odds are pretty dam low Trouble is facebooks not the most reliable of places to be getting '' alledged facts'' , this is whats been posted as ''fact'' , now read carefully, its the chesire rescue thats claiming there animals were jabbed , the wolverhampton case is the only other animal thats was vaccinated & seemingly has shown symptoms, but its been
  8. Simply get them vaccinated , rather than rely on other people to post on here or elsewhere

  13. The first ones a cracker , it looks well pissed off , oddly enough i hadnt seen any tree rats for months then i sat watching half dozon yesterday playing & eating acorns
  14. There great undi , there seems to be a lot of jays up here this year , well more than usuall , are you finding that ?
  15. How many of the 40.000 images do you think went in the bin , numbers mean nowt, & neither does a 15 grand body , its what you achieve with the tools you have that matter , its about putting your personal stamp on an image, no one takes 200 pics & gets 200 breathtaking world beating images , push what you have to the absolute limit
  16. shane the body you have is more than sufficient to be able to get very pleasing photos , not sure what lens you use , but i would invest in better lens rather than upgrade the body .edit some imagination into the pics you have already taken , i doubt the f1 chappy took images from camera to pc without editing them
  17. I am having to slow the shutter speed down , but then you get blured pics unless you use a tripod , i give up now till the sun comes out a bit
  18. I usually smell of hob I really hope thats supposed to say HOB  Im sorry Kay , really i am You look sorry .not
  19. Oh very much so there amazingly quick on there feet , i have found a nice spot where I can watch them from if there in the fields , but its amazing how may folks walking dogs just seem oblivious to the fact there rutting , I watched an old dear walk within feet of them on Sunday I had to look away , the stag jumped to his feet, beggers belief sometimes the general stupidity of some folks
  20. I knew he was there but it was spotting him, well Sunday & Monday i got the chance , he looks a fairly mature stag , very dark compared to the ones I have seen up here in the past . he seems to have 1 star missing , but I think he is a royal stag he has 6 & 5 , not a huge old boy either but very compact & solid , there's nothing up here to challenge him , but there's time yet Another first for me , managing to photograph calves still suckling from hinds , there as big as there mothers most of them, a fantastic weekend despite the very dull conditions & weather, red deer ar
  21. She dosen't sound overly happy from your description, this is what I would do , observe what goes on, check she is being allowed to eat & watch her general condition , if you think she is loosing condition & the others attacking her is going to become detrimental to her overall well-being then move her to another cage . I think you need to allow a little time to sort pecking order out etc , but its knowing where to draw the line , i know from experience that sometimes ferrets just dont get on & in my case 1 hob lost his life because of a problem within the group I had here, if
  22. someone's board a 3 year old thread resurrected
  23. Does he have to use a pop hole to get to his bedding area or squeeze through a gap to another part of the cage ?
