Lol - good to keep a sense of humour. You're right, I'd rather take the risk than keep Casper on a lead. Life is for living! Plus my life would be a misery in the house if he didn't get to run.... the lurcher wall of death!!

I'd like to take Casper to some fun events and show him. The problem is he is nervous of strangers. There will be a song and dance if someone approaches him. He'll try to avoid them and then if all else fails will just sit down. Is there something I can do to help him get over this? I have to say he is already so much better than he was. He used to pee at the sight of someone approaching.

Surely most of the names used are just collective terms?? People from Britain are Brits, right? People from Australia are Aussies, people from Spain are spaniards....... no offence so far but then what term is to be used for people from Pakistan and so on? It's seems that the minorities all jumped on the bandwagon and we (government) pandered to it and now it's out of proportion. I see people as people regardless of where they are from but you have to admit that when you watch crimewatch then brits seem to be the minority. Ok, Casper is my first boy dog. When he was stretching out on his back I noticed either side of his willy near the base were two round lumps, one either side. Before anyone takes the mick out of me he HAS been neutered. Anyone know what this is?? It's not always there, I tried to get a pic but he moved then they disappeared.

Hi Turk, first of all you get a lot of stupid comments on here. You also get a lot more good advice. My suggestion is totally ignore the daft ones or it ends up in 10 page slanging match. As for kennelling your dogs, I think you could do either but if you kennel them you will have less exitement from your other 2 when your taking the lurchers out working. I have 2 in my house and it's a nightmare when it's raining and they get filthy so a nice warm kennel aint a bad idea. Good luck with whatever you choose.

She's definitely been clipped. It would be interesting to see her when her coat has grown back as clipping can affect the way it grows. This is why I'll be stripping mine. If her coat grows back the same i may well clip mine instead..... much quicker She's a stunner btw. -

Hi, may i ask why is this dog muzzled, just wondering, thanks. Hiya - he has issues with small dogs. There's no malice but he is very rough with them. It's something I'm working on so he can be muzzle free soon Doesn't stop him catching rabbits though but I usually have to finish them off.
