  1. ive seen my dog take the piss out of lamped hares, and also seen lamped hares rip the piss out of my dog. if you are going to eat the hare i dont see the problem lamping it. but we all know a day time hare is the only way to test a lurcher. my current dog is lamping bred, beddy whippet x collie grey so would struggle on a good daytime hare and i know that. but after a night about a month ago when i took her for a shine when she was in season and running poor, and she killed two hares in the space on 2 minutes, i would rather see her struggle daytime and if she ever does get one it will make me
  2. my mates got one, havent got a pic but he is 23 and a half inch, he has a very high prey drive and plenty of speed. just got his first deer sunday and did well, brought it down by neck.
  3. How often do you need to worm your dog if feeding raw rabbit regular.
  4. not the type of dog i use but very nice animals all the same same here, bull corss not my type but a cracking looking animal.
  5. both my dogs are insured and microchipped any way, wouldnt have it any other way. what, i pay 12 pound a month for insurance and 15 pound for the micro chipps. how much do we spend on tabs/drink/drugs etc? a lot more than that. surely your dogs are worth it.

  10. worst bag this season 0, best 21 and two retrieved hares. had a fair few 10,s and 15,s. this is single with my 20 month beddy whippet collie grey bitch but had a few more when out with mates. i must be loucky where im at as i have no permision and have caught hundereds this season with little bother from farmers/police/keepers.
  11. Mines not much different, beddy whippet collie grey, can't put a pic up as I'm on my mobile. [bANNED TEXT] breeding and hight is it? Looks a nice dog, my kind of lurcher.
  12. i had a clulite then i bought a blitz, loads better strongly recomend one. my mate also has a clulite and we were out one night with both lamps, i checked one side and my mate checked the other. he shone this field said no theres nothing, then i went a lit it up and there was rabbits every where, his beam just wouldnt reach, blitz beam massive. and they deffintily not too big like some people say makes no difference size wise weather its a clulite or a blitz, the both easy to carry.
  13. yeah deffinitly bet theres plenty about.
  14. no it hasnt been worked its been a pet, but only 6 month old. it was an accidental mating. it belongs to a lad from works sisters brother and hes having a baby and doesnt have time for it. the lad was saying its going in the kennels and do i want it. i dont have the space so thought id ask to see if any one would have use for it. i would imagine it will make a good little busher and fox dog, and maybee to breed to a grey in future if it turns out handy. im in the north east.
  15. First cross xollie staff, free to good home, six month, had all injections.
  16. all depends on how shy things are. i know places at the begining of the season where you can walk with out a lamp and let the dog catch them in the moonlight.
  17. 10 mins on morning before work, few throws of the dummy, 1 hour when get in from work and 10 mins before bed. obviously any work done is on top of this.

  19. i have spent most of my season lamping up there, caught hundereds of rabbits. been caught a few times by farmers and coppers, just been let off. some parts you dont get botherd, where some parts you do. they mainly just botherd about the sheep thats all.

  21. my dog used to be sick every time, she 19 month now and although never sick still drools.
  22. just before she started bleeding she hardly missed a thing, on rabbits that were nearing the hedge when running the final acceleration she had was unreal. then all of a sudden when she started bleeding she was shit, only getting 3 or 4 a night, she been stopped bleeding a week and her pace has deffinitly decraesed by 2 or 3 strides.
