yeah that was me mate. i know your right a coursing dog needs to look like a coursing dog. for 3/3 4/4 in daytime in the open. coursing not my thing though. if it was legal i would probly get into it but for the time being i think ill stick to lamping/daytime mooching.

cheers mate i know what you mean, especially way things are at the minute. yeah she can shift when she needs to but she knows how to conserve her energy (doesnt dive in at everything at 100mph). obviously she not a daytime coursing dog but she does well for her size. game for anything, and a good bushing dog too, if theres deer laid up she l find them.

If the current trend continues,often with the assistance of some who do the extra curriculars , I think sadly you may be right,I would guess that in 20 years or so a lad with a running dog will be looked upon with the same sense of censure as a badger baiter/dogfighter.I would like to think that there will allways be a youngster slipping out with his dog trying to catch a bunny but I have my doubts. I think in some regions we are at that state now,,,,,,,,,, maybe in the near future we will have to walk the lanes and fields with dogs that dont look capapable of killing a hare......Just a

I agree on that whin in mho i think hancock was partcialy to blame for the quality in some collie hybreds.My first lurcher in the 70s was a mixture of collie/grey + beddy/grey bred by a chap called hargraves in lincs .atb dell saluki grey or pure saluki? thats what i have mate, she only 21n half but game as they come. how big was yours? I had a dog of this breeding that was 24tts and a bitch i had was 23t ts .I wish i had a scanner as i have hundreds of photos of them .I bred pups out of them and kept the line going and out crossing to a saluki/grey in 1990 and producing on

i am wanting to start feeding my dogs the BARF diet. i have an 11 week old pup and a 19 month old. any one give me some advice on what/how much/how often to feed them? just been looking at a local supplier and theres too many things available. cheers.

pups looking well lad. mine seems a lot leaner than yours, must just be the way shes threw. what he weigh at the minute? what you feeding him on/ how many times day etc. cheers. oh will you be able to put some pics of the paerents up again. she seems a bit thin to me.

allright mate you get out on sunday? was gonna give you a ring but have lost me phone and dont have your number any more. my dog in heat too so i think thats me for the season. ill have a look out with you one day if you want though. yeah lamps spot on. ok mate when you next out? now mate, yes i went out only got a few runs like not the best of days too be honest. come out whenever you want bring someone you know with a dog or two here my number again just give us a bell 0781 -
thats exactly what i noticed. just before she came in she hardly missed a thing, caught two hares on lamp 30 seconds apart, good runs too. then all of a sudden she strugles to catch a rabit, completly lacking pace and turn. think thats it for me for the season.
