  4. Its not a shame, it had a long and famous life...it was hooked more times than the local smack head, its a wonder it survived till now. A human fed boily muncher, which brought satisfaction to folk who like to fished for a named fish....A shame is when a very big fish that goes unnoticed all its life and dies with out getting the recognition it deserved. Like the many many big fish in loches and loughs around the british isles... Fishing made easy, for the TOP anglers of the country. Who all drive to the same place, and all fish for the same fish..... 20+mile long waters all the way is

  7. not disbelieving you at all because i don't know, but what about when Jonny kingdom had a load caught up and released on to his land,or was that different circumstances or down to recent law changes/whatever,just interested thats all, cheers rob
  8. I have a feeling that rabbits do not associate bangs or vehicle noises with predators, and so they are not put off bolting by these noises. Whereas the sound of a people sneaking around at the entrances to their warrens makes them far more cautious. Similarly, you can drive up to a rabbit with a gun and shoot it from 20 yards without it moving - but if you open the door of the 4x4 and step out the rabbits will scarper. we drive a golf course at night ,lamp and shotgun, any yes very productive,if you try walking it you don't get half as many so same kind scenario really,so your right lol
  9. iv just got the 10ah one and haven't even used the pouch so never noticed it on mine to be honest,i put the battery in the side pocket of the small rucksack i carry, but your right bad design if it keeps tipping over
  10. nice bitch mate, good to get a few to start off, good luck
  11. Yeah the korda funnle web mesh tube is what im using just ts the micromesh one and one drop of rain and the whole bag falls apart on the cast. Richard i usually remove my hook link, fit the new mesh, replace bait whatever and reattach hook link under cover, bivvie, don't seem to get any probs, maybe im just getting it out quicker than you, most of my mates do the same to be fair Yeah thats what i'll have to do maybe take the hook link off and use a baiting needle to put the bag over the hooklength and rest it on the hook instead of just hooking the tip of the bag what about the ba
  12. mine get them raw mate, gutted and skinned and frozen for a few weeks before being defrosted and fed, should not feed cooked bones really as they become hard and can splinter causing damage to the dog, possibly
  13. Usually when someone says they're quite happy for their dog to do something it really means they cant stop it from doing it.... so your input is?????

  17. sounds spot on to me cheers
  18. i know what your saying and thanks for that,i did read on another thread that they wouldn't want the dog to take rabbits in the net for fear of damaging the nets, just wondered what others thought, have had plenty slip the net over the years so i want her to hold them in the nets(purse),lets be honest they not to difficult to replace, but what if they are netted in a long net?
  19. caught many good fish in the rain, plenty carp over twenty pound,as for pva bags, bit old school, try using the pva mesh yes it is more expensive but worth it, completely hassle free imo, just make a few up before you go,keep them under wraps and use as needed
  20. what do you expect from the dog exactly, from the moment you net up,and do you want her to take rabbits in the nets or leave those and just take ones that have escaped the net/or from a missed bolt hole as it were. just want a typical example of how you go about it and what you expect the dog to be doing, thanks rob
  21. about 15weeks 10 months,shown her before but hey,there you go 3/4grey 1/4 collie
  22. Never heard of that before ! Will give it a go. P.S. Our chooks keep hiding their eggs. How do i encourage them to lay in the nest box again ? The domestic chicken originated from wild jungle fowl in Southeast Asia. There they were subjected to predators. Their nesting behavior is related to these wild roots and hens will frequently hide their eggs to keep their nests safe. Confining Hens A hen that hides her eggs may need to be confined to a nest box during the day when she lays her eggs. This can train the hen to use the box instead of finding other places to lay eg
  23. boiled up potato peelings, better than throwing it away and they love it
