never been one for needing to much from my dogs to be honest other than plenty of socialising, recall which soon becomes second nature when lamps switched off so no need for a verbal command although yes at times if getting them out in the day and retrieve 100% other than that dont need anything else from a lamping dog
one word i do commonly use with them is "GET"
on
off
out
in
up
down
and above all, just get the f**k
Don't think it matters, I go most years as it a good chance to get a few bits after the winter, not a bad show.
sunday you get more dog boys there
cheers mate,il go saturday in that case, get my fill of these "dog boys"on here,
that was the point i was trying to make when i put it up hence "these lads get a few runs"as per the norm it got slated, everyones dogs better than everyone elses make me f*****g laugh this lot at times but then what the f**k do i know, never had a good dog yet compared to this lot, but then on the other hand going it alone, never seen one any better either
The 6th April Countrymans Weekly is the show edition - so that usually has most of the main shows in. I've tended to use it and found it pretty good to be fair. Someone is also compiling a show dates calander on here - so look back in this section and you might see something. Thanks
cheers

cant be bothered to read all the shite about it,they put some work in front of the dogs thats all i was getting at and thats good enough for me
always get mine broke to the gun mate usually the 410 first from a good distance although firework night always seems to fall when i have a pup around the place so good starting point if you ask me,after a while depending on the dogs reaction move up to the 12bore,gun shot and warm game seem to go hand in hand for a youngster starting out and so far iv never had a problem,he says
what i will say is that its quite nice to see the dog getting exited as soon as it sees the gun coming out the case, all about association
im certainly not disputing the fact they are a good bit of kit to have, just not for me thats all,i had to keep mine in shed purely because the lack of space, just saying i would rather walk them than sit in the shed watching them run it thats all
