    if you have to ask it int broke lol,seriously though iv had mine broke couple times over the years and yes it smarts a bit,actualy no it smarts a lot,had it put right,again,last year,couple of metal rods pushed up your beak then cranked together to straighten it up,general anesthetic obviously, then a month of sleepless nights not being able to breathe properly,tend to try and keep me mouth shut now when it kicks off

    iv never had a dog capable of taking hares on the lamp full stop let alone big numbers,ok iv had a couple here and there over the years but these were stumbled upon with a very short slip and been caught within 150m or so,once they got up and running they soon made my dogs look silly and were gone,ok the lay of the land, fields with features slight uphill and downhill inclines,with a lot of flint in places all worked in the hares favour as they were soon out the beam and away but even if it was flat as a snooker table mine would not have caught them anyway,never had a dog built for running the

    i did use one for a couple months but soon got rid although i hate road walking sitting there watching them on a treadmill was even bloody worse,can see that they might be useful in bringing a dog back on from injury but other than that id rather walk the strreets if im not getting them out to work

    glad you put that up mate as i said only caught the jist of it yesterday,iv only ever seen a handfull over the years and believe me iv covered some miles,i think its regarded as one of the,if not the ultimate doubles in the shooting circles and the way they spring up when flushed/ spooked and what with their eratic flight through a wood i can appreciate why They certainly are special I choose not to shoot them now I have shot my share never a double though it is the only animal that I have ever shot and regretted killing so decided I didn't need to shoot any more, that said if others
