WOW, that comes across as a very elitest attitude , you hate the fact they hate to be paid. remanisant of edwardien values. of course beaters should be paid, there giving up either free time (weekends) or having a day of work. not only should they get piad, they should also get a beaters day, and if there regulars and have the keepers trust, then rabbiting , pigion shooting permision . should be given. get in the 21st century fella

there is a lot already about this on here, click the search at the top corner. i wrote a big piece about it that i cant be aresed to do again, sufice to say it doesnt even work properly, my mate witnessed 2 rats and a vixen run from 3 difrent warrens after the expostion . this was on a demo. wich was witnessed by 7-8 farmers and keepers. none of them bought the machine after this demo. wich was good. also there are a number of these for sale second hand regularly in the farming papers, this tels me there no good , as most farmers hang on to the oldest tools.

yes its a problem brimmer, i have 9 in my court. 2 of wich are small hobs from last year, but boy are they fat, the jills that i tend to work the most ore nice and lean, but not skinny. i tend to feed 1 rabbit a day for this many, although i will somtimes put a hare in , and leave it 3 days. and also somtimes go a day without food

yes your right there sam looks like mark will get a bye in to the next round. but to be honest i think thats the only way that little dog will get any where. its only done 15-20 rabbits . it will be a difrent story when it comes up north on to big numbers, it will most likly jack

DONE a bit of hunting myself in sufolk around the breaklands, loads of game , plenty rabbits, hare roe and muntys. nice pics there and a nice looking pup, all the best TOMO

I had a bitch that came in heat at 3 unbelievable i know,my vet who is a mate reckoned that she was too hard and well muscled,just like alot of female athletes. Funny thing is we moved house,didn't get her out proper couple of months nothing no working and she came in heat. Well she had nine pups and she was a collie/greyhound/deerhound. When i say the bitch was hard well muscled,judges used to always look under her check that it was a bitch. DONT be in a hurry , for somthing that afects your dogs behaviour. my little kelpie x whipp/grey bitch was 3 years and 1 month old befor her first time in season , hopfully it will be the same lenghth of time befor her second. i have herd of greyhounds not coming in season till there retired, maybe somthing to do with being very fit and perhaps a lack of body fat.

look if your not shure , go to the vets. yes they may like to earn a crust. but they will still have your dogs best intrest at hart. i see your in nottinghamshire. go to the greyhound vet richard torr, he is at shepshed just over the border in leictershire

it will retrive it if you train it, i have one hear that retrives as well as a field trail lab all alive right to hand. i have a 21/2 year ld saluki x bitch bred out of captain just wounderd were to go on the fen with her course ive never been and just wonderd were to go course i think she will smash hares down there the chancesof you getting pulled are very high be careful it can be very expensive IF youget cought i normally got to a place called gotham feilds are big but i wont me bitch to have a go on the fens alot of me cousins go down there but never take me so if any
