    I left a ferret box once,,, compleat with a brace of jills,,, had to drive all the way back,,,luckily it was still there,,,,, And about 25 year ago I left a ferret locator ,,,on a stone wall after diggin out a rabbit up in Westmorland ,,,, I eventually went back for it,,, about 4-5 month later,,,it was still there ,,, and what's more it still worked

    Your right brewman,, we had less fear in them days,,, maybe all kids are like that,,, I remember playing in the railway cuttings,,these places were a sheer drop of about 15 to 20 feet in some places,,, and we would see who had the balls to jump down,,,the good thing here was the stones that the rail is mounted on,,were soaped down,,, so when you jumped on to them from high up,,, they gave way a bit,,, so cushioning your jump,,, We also would climb these little trees,,, some kind of pine/ fur trees,,, not dead high,, again 15 20 foot,,, and jump out the top,,and catch the branches as we wen

    Ok his old man might not be a good dad,, I don't know,,,, However my old man did 12 hour shifts on nights regular whilst I was growing up,,,so to be honest my old man didn't do much with me,,,but I was lucky to grow up in a little village in the 70,s. When we only had 3 tv Chanel's ,,, no mobile phones,, x boxes or computers ,,,,,, so back then us kids did what all kids had done growing up,,, we played games,,, played sports,,, and explored ,, climbing trees,,, looking at nature,,,,, I think we were the last generation doing all this,,,
